Hey, can someone now how to upload my game like the jam wants me to do?
Short version: the jam opens Nov 1 at 21:37 UTC (1:37 PM PST), the theme is announced then, and you have until Dec 1 at 1:37 PM PST. Make the game during November with any engine or language you like, keep the source in a public GitHub repo, then make an itch.io page for it (Upload Game at the top of itch) and press Submit on the jam page before the deadline. You can update it right up to the end, so upload something early. AI isn't banned, but the submission form asks if you used it, so just answer honestly. Good luck
Slow down. This is a month-long jam.
Go back to the main page for the jam and read it carefully, especially the part at the top. You can do two things in advance, but they are not required:
Both of these should just be placeholders. Starting any other work before the theme is announced is frowned upon, and in some cases can get you disqualified.
You have to have an itch.io project page in order to submit your game. You also need a GitHub repository.
I would need to know what program is being used to create the game before recommending how to compile and upload to the project page. The best place to get detailed help like that is on the Discord server. This forum gets a lot less traffic, especially after the jam starts.
