This is a really cool idea. The visual and sound design create  a great, unnerving atmosphere. The monsters are really freaky looking! It's pretty difficult, but it's interesting enough that I kept playing for a while to survive as long as possible. I would have loved a little more of a narrative hook, but I thought it was overall a good, spooky time.

I like the graphics/art design very much, good job.

Baby was crying and I couldn't find a bed for it but fortunately the day ended before I lost sanity - slay :D Neat little idea, survive the night, parenting edition :D

The real horror is the baby

Got insta-killed 3x by the lurkind within ~2 minutes of starting. Couldn't figure out what blinds were open that I needed to close. The concept for this game is really sick but I was gated out of seeing most of it by that dastardly lurkind.

So sorry that happened, I kind of had a hard time balancing the difficulty game without any playtester. If you ever intend to try the game again, the current strategy is to just search every windows once you hear the shutters opening.

Again sorry

No worries! If you send a screenshot of what an open window looks like I'll give it another go.

Here's a screenshot for reference, But honestly I'd say give it a week or two before trying it again. I'm planning to finish the game soon right after the scream jam ends with polish and an actual story 😅

The game is set in a maze where you have to find 3 keys and escape through a door before "him" gets you!

Developer

Thanks! Yeah I agree, I might've overscoped for this game given the jam's time frame (which made me forgot about polishing)
