Fun visuals and pleasant music! I like the concept, but I feel like the light is too small or something... it felt more frustrating than fun at times. The first couple of levels felt quite fun, but it was really frustrating to get soft locked and lose your candies after dying. I think restarting the player position is enough, maybe you should keep the candies you got? I do like the concept of having to think before acting though.

Thanks for trying the game! :3

You were able to hear the music? There is music and I can hear it when I test the game in window, but not when I export it and play it on itch.io. Someone else I think could not hear the music so that's interesting. Glad you liked it, though!

I see what you mean with the light, I'll think about increasing it or some sort of solution. I'm not sure how to keep track if you have candies to save it, but it'll be fun to learn. A difficulty setting might help or being able to change these somehow. After the jam is over I'll look into adding these.

Thank you for the feedback!

Searching for your pumpkin and the platforms with the light is a really fun take on the theme!

One small thing: at the start of every level I had to scan the whole screen to find the player. Starting the light on the pumpkin when a level begins would fix that. Some background music would also be an easy win to add more atmosphere.

Really nice for a first game, especially after switching ideas mid-jam!

Thank you! :3

You can press your left mouse button to have the light hover the player, but I don't think I made it obvious enough. If I update the game after the jam I'll think about adding a tutorial so people know they can switch the light to easily find the player.

Thank you for the feedback!

Pretty cool, though my I would've liked to be able to use a bigger resolution, it was very small for me ; and to be able to jump with space.

Thanks for trying the game :3

For the resolution, I'll try to fix it and then add space to jump - I actually remember specifically deleting space to jump, I don't know why I did that lol
