I was shocked to have enjoyed a visual novel! I really love the vibe of the game you really locked down the atmosphere!

Skipping thru the video I noticed that the background changes to dawn afterward lol nice attention to detail. Also sorry I had to whisper

Giving it a shot now! My friends made a video reply inspired by your video reviews, idk when they will upload it, I had to drive someone somewhere like 5 mins into their play thru but im about to do my own run

I typed out like a massive reply that I will retype later, but I closed the tab on accident. For now, just know that I was excited to see you have fun and the detailed video response was very valuable! Literally made my day! You were so close to getting the 'key' to finding out who's haunted! Johan Loos's voice lines changed to the haunted set but you mistook that for a new character! Each character has a haunted and innocent set, you lowkey also got the hardest characters to be haunted too lol

Believe it or not I really enjoy the length of this game. I do agree that a shorter game might be more 'enjoyable' but I like the concept of being tortured I guess lol, as if I were really descending into a tunnel to hell. I think this game captures that feeling very well. That is to say I think I enjoy this game as more of an 'experience' than a traditional game. Like the dread you feel when you know you have 5 hours left in your road trip.

That being said, I feel like I wish the monster was scarier somehow... or like more of a looming threat than one you could see? The 'structure' of the monster also felt kind of claude coded idk but that could be a side effect of how it functions?

Love the concept of this game! The music feels a bit too intense for what's going on, but it really set the atmosphere. Toward the end I was half hoping to get spooked in the mirror world!

Fun visuals and pleasant music! I like the concept, but I feel like the light is too small or something... it felt more frustrating than fun at times. The first couple of levels felt quite fun, but it was really frustrating to get soft locked and lose your candies after dying. I think restarting the player position is enough, maybe you should keep the candies you got? I do like the concept of having to think before acting though.

I'm not big on platformers, but I also really liked the mechanic of the game! The lightning was a fun idea, but I wish there was like a reason you couldn't use the flashlight anymore, idk if I missed it or not. I did find the game too frustrating to finish, after the lightning was introduced, but it was fun experience overall!

Fun game, I like the idea! The atmosphere was really good, the whole time I felt paranoid that something would jump at me from the darkness, I'm both relived and somewhat disappointed that nothing did!

Theres something about the map you get when you look down... I feel like it is necessary, but also kind of trivializes the game a bit. I wish I could suggest a solution to that issue, but I'm not sure.

I think I was able to beat the game in 5 minutes, by 'abusing' the map. I'm not sure if I missed another level or something? I really loved this concept though! Big fan of maze games, I would love to see a completed version of this game!

I like the concept! I think a good addition would be to make the people move around so you'd have to dodge them with your gaze.

Actually I just tried the tool and it seems to work for me?  Here's what the tool gives me when I try to copy link itch://games/5259449

ok wait i tried using that link and it didnt work I think I know what to do tho

ok I think i might have fixed it? you might have to download the .pak manually thanks for telling us about this tool though!

Ok I think the real fix is to go to the itch page on the app and then click download and install the ZIP folder

Hmmm I'll have to try using the tool tomorrow. I tried to make it browser playable but I think the voice files made the game too big. I promise there's no virus but that's what a virus putter in gamer would say xd

I want to preface by saying that I typically don't play games of this genre.  Had to search up what a pine marten looked like, very cute! Fun idea, love her design! I would love to see a full version with more sprites/reactions!

The dialogue... I feel like... somehow I wish it were more exciting or fantastical? I was invested on if she was some sort of pumpkin creature that didn't know how she was born like with the line abt her mother?  Personally, I would like a mini game of some sort, if you could figure it out! Again, would love to see a full version of this game!

Thank you so much! The psx visual was kind of just a side effect of using Elbolillo's free asset pack Characters PSX by Elbolilloduro

WAIT HOLY CRAP THIS GAME IS GOATED

I also love the graphics! The gameplay feels very classic platformer, just not my type of game. Was really trying to get to the end of it but got stuck on like stage 3 (I think) with the hanging platforms, couldn't figure out how to turn the lights off. Good work though!

Edit figured out you can dash thru the lights, you probably stated that in one of the tooltips lol, in later stages, it was really frustrating to push a box too far and be unable to move it back from a wall. The vibe of the game is really good tho and the art is amazing! It really sells the vibe. The controls tho, I don't really like too much right now... it feels like its too sensitive or something? Maybe intended for controller? Amazing concept with the lights; using the box to block the light was really cool! A full game with more light based puzzles would probably be amazing.

I really gottta say that I was really frustrated playing this game lol I also soft locked myself by jumping over the house at the end.

I really loved the menu! Gameplay felt idk... I feel like I enjoyed the concept of moving stuff around much more than the combat.  I really love the concept of the stuffed animals and the threads!  I would have spent more time playing but I felt like I didn't really know what the goal was besides an endless series of room combats. I would love to see a full version of this game!

I also liked the core concept of this game! Would love to see a full version of this game! I will say though that the shrinking and growing was hard (at least for me) to identify. Good work though!

I really want to enjoy this game, and it feels like it could be really fun, but bro you had 5 more days to flesh it out and perfect it! It's impressive for how long it took you though. Like sleepnt's comment, the camera makes seeing where you're going a bit difficult, and while I appreciate that being really zoomed in makes it a bit scarier and the maze a bit more effective, it's a little difficult to enjoy for me.

The gameplay feels very original! I didn't really enjoy the concept of rolling dice and trying to get lucky, but I really like this game overall, and the atmosphere from the graphics and music is great too!

play my game bro PLEASE find my suspects

Goated game I love the Atari style would love to see avgn react to this. I agree with max on the difficulty, but i think that fits with the atari aesthetic. You really captured it its amazing.

I legit came back to this game needing to try to reach 20 tho
