This is an interesting concept. I wonder how a color blind mode could be added if it is possible. The inputs are registering but it's taking a bit for the game to respond. Please see if it is possible to make the game respond quicker so the experience would be better. Also this would make a nice game for mobile platforms.

Please check out my game too. Thanks a lot!

Thanks for your feedback!

Color blind mode: it could be very interesting; however, there are many types of color blindness. So I assume it's impossible to generalize to only "one mode". I'll keep it for future thinking.

Make the game respond quicker : if it's on the "end screen" it's a choice to avoid some miss with press "Enter Key" 2 times quickly.

Mobile platform: seems not too hard to adapt for mobile, yup! Maybe with an infinite mode also (continue to the next color as long as players are right ), without the 20-second rules!

I’ll take a look at your game! Thanks again for your feedback.

Text doesn’t fit on the screen and bleeds out over the edges. Safe margins and inner boundaries would fix that. Also WASD and arrow controls don’t work properly, you can only advance the RGB boxes to the right; likewise, you can only increase their value.

You should probably update the tags to declare AI as it’s a requirement for the jam.

Noted about the UI!

Maybe I need to be clearer in the description & the rules of the game, because, as written in the description, "When you choose to increase a channel, this action is irreversible; that’s the “Double or Quit” point!"

About AI, I use a grammar corrector for my poor English in the description and to answer properly in the comment section, but that's it. I guess there is some AI in this corrector, but that's all.

Can see you fixed the text alignment. Nice. And control scheme is only right or increase now. I would suggest allowing left too. Especially as you can eventually cycle back to R if you keep moving right.

Developer (1 edit)

Yes, there’s no reason to lock movement to the left if I don't lock this cycle Red->Blue->Green->Red—you’re right! Thanks again for taking the time to provide feedback!

well, it not being full WASD threw me off too but i learned that it is a Double or Quits thing from the Controls graphic and came to appreciate it. ie, dont move on to the next channel until you mean it!
maybe leave it as is and add an Easy mode with full WASD but i appreciate how you originally designed it more.
either way works, tho :)

It's fun, and I like the concept! The music getting faster as there is less time is nice. It would be cool if there were some sort of metric or scoring based on how close you were

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback!

I'm with you on the scoring; it's not really obvious to find one. Maybe I need 2 different metrics, one for the perfect/speedy and one for the closest!

nice take on the Theme as once you Double, there's no going back!

it might need a little UI work and some of the text might leave the screen but it's a fun Submission and the Music delivers a nice, "building" vibe to accompany play.
