Oh, my God! I cannot believe I missed the notification for this! I got to the page by chance and saw the updated main page images…

First and foremost: Im really happy i found this project by chance while navigating this interweb of ours. Not only that, I’m happy I got to see your creative work, ToMyself. You are one of a kind! (At the bottom, I ramble a little more about this.)

The new Interact with Me! (Politer version, hahah)looks interesting, and it has the potential to please a even bigger audiences, I believe! (More people should know about this special game.) i hope the project gets what it deserves!

i have not played the update yet, i just found out about it some minutes ago, and my device is taking its sweet time to download it, for some reason… But do not worry, you will hear(read) from me once I finish this one over the weekend.

Note: i noticed a small typo in the post! Here it is: (chapter number gets repeated)

Rambling:

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

I found this project by chance while looking at another game’s page. It is a funny story, even: it was a discontinued project, one of the commenters said something, and i ended up clicking on the account to get more recommended games. Who would have thought that random commenter would have commented on the page of an indie game called “Interact with Me!”? I thought immediately: “Okay, that looks, reads and smells like something I would really like!” But, you know, still being carefully excited, I didn’t download the game. I played it in the browser firstt.

Really, you probably got me in the first 15 seconds, hahah. The environment, the art and Myrddin’s, well, “normal” way of talking to us were engaging and, what I really liked: intriguing! Honestly, it reminded me of another piece of media that I really enjoy, which got me hooked in its first 30 seconds or so because of how intriguing it was.

Anyway, I got blown away by the project, so much that I even felt like commenting! Something I rarely do around here, surprisingly as it may be… hahah.

To add the cherry on top, a few days later the creator of the project actually answered my silly comment and, well, the rest is history.

Thank you for making some of my nights a little brighter and my head a little heavier with theories and philosophical topics. I wish you the best! I cannot write more because suddenly the download sped up and I might be able to play a little before turning in for the day.

Have a great one!!

Note: i will try to be one of those 1%… :eyes

Man… These notifications really do me dirty.

You can’t imagine how glad I am that that commentator happened to comment here, haha.

It’s also incredibly gratifying to hear that the game managed to capture your interest so quickly, especially considering how rather slow its beginning is.

So truly, thank you for giving IWM a chance all the way back then!

And I’m just as glad that you decided to share your thoughts here.

I still remember reading through your post several times.

At the time, comments that went into detail about the events of the game, personal interpretations, theories, and broader thoughts were quite rare. Frankly, they were almost nonexistent.

And encouraging exactly that kind of discussion was one of the reasons behind the direction I chose for IWM’s story.

I wanted the game to leave people with things to think about, and then encourage them to share their theories and the different ways they interpreted what was happening.

So when I first read through your post, it genuinely felt like I had achieved a little milestone I had quietly been hoping to reach throughout development, haha.

And what makes me even happier is that I was fortunate enough to experience that feeling not just once, but repeatedly throughout development, thanks to you.

Even now, with the game finally completed, I still have the privilege of reading and responding to your thoughts, interpretations, and theories.

And I cannot tell you how gratifying that is!

Can’t believe all my yapping was actually useful for once, haha.

And, of course, I’m always happy to hear whatever thoughts, theories, or impressions you may wish to share in the future!

I’m very grateful. Thank you very much!

Warm regards!

Thanks! (Not a theories post) I wanted to send a quick bugs report I have made after my full on replay in preparation for the final chapter + the final chapter itself, since, if im not mistaken, I ended up not sending my bug report for the previous chapter:

In case anyone else is reading, careful, spoilers below:

I replayed on the Linux version this time:

Chapter 1, If im not mistaken:

  • Double Myrddin:

History log for that scene:

  • Chapter 2 - Transparent Myrddin(Maybe it is intended? It was not like that before.):

  • Typo, chapter 3:

  • A bug i did not screenshot, but when we want to change the ambiance, there was a section when those options are at the center of the screen and it is not possible to scroll. I thought I screenshotted, I apologise, but it was around the end of chapter 3 or chapter 4… Sorry, my memory is not the best of things. If the bug comes up again, I’ll screenshot it.

  • Final chapter, typo:

  • “Broken saves” with options still showing up, what I belive was the part that was not intentional:

After the chapter ended, I went to load a random initial save file and I think the options on screen are not always being cleaned, loading another one worked though, perhaps because it had no options?

I hope it helps!

I need to explore some things I have not done yet, but I would say two words can summarize my experience: **surprisingly expected! ** A bit contradictory, but it is fitting, is it not?

cough, cough, ahem

Mechan from the past when Madness\madman showed up

Additionally, happy late anniversary, Itchio says the game released on October, last year. But I think you released an earlier version before that, right? Nonetheless, thank you for persevering!
