How does the game relate to the theme (Haunted)?
The computer is haunted by the strange owner of this very ordinary bunker and it's completely normal greenhouse. The game's main mechanic/theme is the stealing of souls through photography and machinery.

What optional themes/'powerups' were used, if any (Psychedelic and Machine)?
The game is centered around haunted machines, the camera and computer, and the greenhouse is full of surreal creatures.

I really like the atmosphere! The 3D models of the plants and the enemies were awesome and I love the environmental objects u have as well! I find the instructions a bit confusing and I actually had to go through your walkthrough but I wish there were some sort of checklist or something similar in the game itself. The camera flashing mechanic was interesting but can get a bit disorienting combined with the tight space. Overall, the game needs a bit more polish in gameplay but what you have right now is also awesome! Great work!

Thanks for taking the time to play and to write your thoughts! There was of course a lot of features that got cut for time, some unfortunately being those that added to the clarity of the goals in the game. Our initial pitch was that you were collecting photos for the One in the Computer to help them compose their 'zine. You would have traveled back and forth to the computer more. Some of the disorientation and getting stuck on things in the dark is intentional, but of course can be refined!

Appreciate your thoughts and nice compliments  :)

I liked the premise and the environment design is kooky. I got very disoriented with the camera and flash mechanic, but everything could potentially be improved by spacing out the collision objects in the greenhouse so you're less likely to get stuck. Another good thing to improve is the ambient lighting or increase the gamma on the camera so the contrast between lit and unlit is reduced.

Overall, great work!!

The gamma suggestion is a really good idea. It is intentional for you to get stuck so you have to use the flash to look out for objects that will trap you, but the flash draws the monster to your location. But clearly it can be further refined and convey the intent better :)

Thanks for taking the time to play and to give us your comment :D

There is a walkthrough guide on the itch page to help a bit if you're very lost. We of course had ideas to make it more clear, but what was submitted is what we got finished in the time. Thank you for your compliments on the style and atmosphere !

The enemy is a bit weird, sure, but otherwise it’s absolute peak.
