Played up to level 20 on desktop. Lighting a match and watching the fire crawl along the wick is really satisfying, and the game ended up much more enjoyable than I expected.

At the very start I didn't know where to click, until I realised the brown trails were oil. Once I got going it felt very intuitive.

A few notes:

- Some of the early levels have kegs with no wick leading to them, so there's no way to fail and they feel a bit like filler.

- I couldn't find a way to get a 1-star result, so the star rating doesn't say much at the low end.

- More kinds of obstacles would keep it fresh. I'd happily play again if it got expanded with more variety.

Thanks for playing to 20 and for the clear notes.

- Not knowing where to click: you're not the first. The update adds a pulsing ring on the oil line in level 1 and a hint that says to tap it.

- Kegs with no wick: also fixed in the update. Early levels with a keg on a torch-free trail lose the keg, and every later keg now blocks a strike you'd want to make.

- 1 star: you're right, and here's why. 1 star means clearing at par +2, but from level 13 on you only get par +1 matches, so a clear there is always 2 or 3 stars. On levels 1-12 it's possible, but only if you waste matches on purpose. I'll rethink what the low end means rather than leave an empty slot.

- More obstacles: noted. Right now it's kegs, wet wood and drafts. The update adds two bigger 7x9 finale boards, but nothing new mechanically yet.

The update goes live after the AI Jam 5 voting ends (Nov 6) so the rated build stays as submitted.

Update's live (v2.0; the jam host said updating during voting is fine). Undo now costs a star and Restart stays free, so the 1-star tier is real on every level: par +1 with an Undo mid-level. Your other two notes are in too: level 1 now points at the oil line, and every keg left in the game blocks a strike that would light a torch. Thanks again for the notes.

Nice, that was quick! Glad the notes helped.
