The Biggest Challenge
Getting an AI-generated monster to move convincingly. The first procedural walk cycle stretched the mesh, so instead of judging it by eye I built automated checks for skin deformation, foot contact on cratered ground and attack timing, and had the coding agents iterate against them until the walk, smash, stomp and beam poses passed. The same approach kept the destruction model honest: scripted simulation checks for structural support, falling sections and debris ran after every change.
AI Tools Used
OpenAI Codex and Claude Code (code), OpenAI image generation (monster concept), ElevenLabs (sound effects), Suno v6 (music).
Areas Where AI Was Used
Code (all of the TypeScript game), monster concept art, sound effects and music.

Gotta say, I loved destroying cities! There are some wonky controls and fire beam is only thing you need, but the destruction of buildings and shockwaves were really satisfying.
This is really fun!
At first, I was taking things apart bit by bit, but then I realized I hadn't used the shockwave with 'E'. It feels so satisfying!
However, when I used the shockwave right away, the military unit showed up and took me down almost immediately. I get that the goal is to strategically destroy the city, but I really enjoyed just blasting everything with shockwaves for that instant satisfaction.
The kaiju's movement looks awesome too! I didn't realize at first that you could change the camera view with the right mouse button, so a clearer guide or hint for that would be super helpful.
Honestly a really cool idea! keep up the good work I think you might be on to something!
What a fun game concept! It looks so polished great work! Obviously needs some narrative reason to do what you're doing, or some genuine challenge, but it's fun!
Edit- the other thing I forgot to say is that the camera needs work. Not only is it not nice to be in the position it is in, it should be further up above the shoulder, but it also makes the scene go blurry at some parts I noticed near the end when I had destroyed most things.
