Would have been nice if I could move faster and password easier to guess (I had to look at the answer). The art was really nice though and had a nice atmosphere. if you guys had more time I think you guys would have fixed all those problems easily.

Thanks for your review! Exactly, we were time constrained and did not get enought time to play test but we'll keep this in mind!

for sure the atmosphere is the highest point here. my only criticism is about the puzzle to unlock the door. im not sure if its easy for you folks abroad to associate a time and a date in a way that lets you write them down like that, but here in Brazil, that’s something no one would ever even think of! lol. despite that, good work.

Developer

Thankyou for your review! The puzzle was a shortened last minute version of a longer idea because of time constraints but yes your comment makes sense. We'll keep this in mind for sure :)

The environment and art style are so cool! I really like it

Thankyou so much!

Oh wow, what a story. Short but memorable.
And the ambience too.... Scary...
In the future, game like this could benefit from a little jumpscare, not big but just a little.
Good job, dev!

Developer

Thanks for the review! We wanted to add the jumpscare but due to time constraints we skipped that but we'll keep this in mind for sure :)

A retired detective travelling through a pine forest at night and getting pulled into a roadside motel mystery is a great noir setup, and 'read every dialogue carefully, especially the numbers' makes the clue-hunting sound like a real part of the fun. Nice teamwork, knaagar and LenocaX!

Would you mind trying my game too? Forever is a cute dating app on a phone in a dark bedroom, and the ♥ meter isn't measuring what it says it is. It's about 10 minutes, mouse or touch only, and every rating really helps!

Developer(+1)

Thankyou so much for the review! We tried your game as well and it's absolutely amazing :)

is not working for me maybe cuz i am on linux?
this is the error message that gives me

Error: Couldn't load project data at path "/". Is the .pck file missing?

If you've renamed the executable, the associated .pck file should also be renamed to match the executable's name (without the extension).

Developer

I don't think playing on Linux would cause any error since the game is a web build. Try hard refreshing your browser or check if any blockers might be interfering!?
