The issue does indeed still persist. The browser is ChromeOS and the device is a Chromebook 3120 2 in 1. Though now that the button mapping feature exists I can just switch the keybind.
Oh, I see you would like a toggle for touch laptop. I'll add this to the settings. I assumed you were on mobile.
I just updated it. Check the settings and go to mouse; you'll see an option in there to turn on the toggle.
