I love that you take over for each other when the game is too much - I have so many games I only ever finished because I didn't play alone. Sheesh, being a lone adventurer out there is so creeeepy, almost all the time! Thrilling once it's behind me but damn if I ever not turn on the lights in the hallyway at night after zombies, demons, and whatnot have been heroically defeated...
Right?! I used to get home from work around 3 am and need to unwind a bit before going to bed. One such time I was playing Tomb Raider (can't remember which one) and exploring a tomb. I kept getting this feeling that someone was around or watching me. I kept pausing the game and looking out the windows and checking the house. After the 3rd time of the feeling growing more and more, I just ignored it and kept playing. A couple minutes later someone came out of the shadows in the game and started talking and startled the crap out of me. It hadn't even occured to me that feeling could be coming from inside the game.
