Hey Triston, really like the progress you have made on this update! The new attack select screen is really nice and adds a ton to the game. The game is getting better and better with every update. Here are some notes I took, let me know if you have any questions.
- Pros
- Really like the new prepare screen, adds a lot of strategy and is really satisfying.
- Great to be able to position ships before round begins
- Seeing what attacks will look like is cool
- It is a huge quality of life change, don’t have a ton of comments but it adds a lot
- Liked being able to continue my save file and pick up where I left off
- Dialogs for friendly fire and hitting objects that kill a teammate were funny, being called out for screwing up adds a lot of character
- Still constantly finding new fun synergies and ideas how to play after all this time
- Really like the new prepare screen, adds a lot of strategy and is really satisfying.
- Cons
- Two of the attacks were locked for me even after hitting end credits, said keep progressing in story
- think they were anachromium wave and void bullet
- I was playing the download version and it autoloaded my old save, beat the game on this save but maybe that is it?
- Encountered bug where game was prompting me for my next turn after all ships were dead.
- Meteor shower destroyed two of my ships then next turn enemy self destructed and killed me. Game then prompted me to take next turn but I had no ships on screen
- Meteor shower attack probably needs some balancing. It often completely took out my team and didn’t seem to really hurt the enemy team
- I was on hard mode so it was probably just an unforgiving place to use those abilities
- Maybe with a specific time reversal ability only on your team it would be worth but still really risky for not a lot of damage
- Couldn’t understand wording on the Saul Over ability and didn’t get a chance to use it.
- Tried a few times to use it and didn’t get chance
- Not sure what the ability does and wasn’t aware that it needed to be aimed
- I’ll have to try it on further testing, I tend to avoid the higher cost cards so they aren’t my favorite
- Two of the attacks were locked for me even after hitting end credits, said keep progressing in story
