Free updates will only be coming out every 3-4 months now. This is because the game is nearing completion (over 50% of content) so most of the stuff being added is paid only. The change in release schedule is so free updates can actually have a reasonable amount of content.
For example for the release you would have gotten this month you would have gotten 5 rooms in stratum 3 as everything else is paid only.
