I think this game actually shares a lot in common with AureBL's submission to this same playfest. Both games of chance, both with a background that looks AI polished, both a bit wordy in their tips and explanations. There's a sense of humor to this game that comes out most in the facial expressions of the non-human AIs I played against.

My critique is that the game seemed... small, and the world it is played in seemed almost too big for it. At the end of the day the trick taking is quick and kinda random, but there is a lot layered on top of it. I guess I would suggest a higher ratio of game to scenery, if that makes any sense. But that's just my taste.

Excellent card game!

The whole presentation is beautiful and elegant. The ship setting, menus, character designs, and little interactive details, like the bells, give the game so much personality.

The characters are especially charming! Their expressions and reactions change throughout the game. Sometimes they look nervous or impatient, making it feel like you're actually sitting at a table playing cards with them.

There's a learning curve if you're unfamiliar with trick-taking games, but once you understand the objective, everything clicks. I went from not knowing what a trick was to understanding the strategy and finishing the entire campaign

I played against the computer, but I imagine it would be even more fun with other players.

Will come back to play with someone gadly.

My only suggestion would be some subtle background music to complement the atmosphere.

Really impressive work.

Wow, thank you so much! Reading this really made my day. You took the time to play the whole campaign, and on top of that you started without knowing what a trick was. That's the best thing I could hope for from a playtest.

It also makes me really happy that the characters came across so well. I spent a lot of evenings on their little reactions, so knowing they made it feel like a real table with real people means a lot to me.

And you're absolutely right about the music. That's a great idea, and I'm going to add some quiet background music to the table. If you do come back for an online round, I'd love to hear how it plays with real people.

Thanks again, this was really motivating!

It was a nice trip i felt like a gentleman, even afraid of asking what a trick was, that grasshopper could strike me face for not knowing hahah, later you could set up tournaments.
