yeah I guess so, some of the events that were going on in England at the time (New young King, rebel Barons etc) helped shape the direction of the story and some of the histories of the Marshal family (mainly Walter's Mother's lineage) changed Walter's narrative at times.
That's really interesting! It's nice how the actual political events and the Marshal family's history ended up influencing Walter's journey rather than just serving as background details.
btw, u are making me even more interested in the game with every detail u share! I would love to hear more about the creative process and discuss the game a little further, but going back and forth in comments can get a bit difficult.
