The idea of painting on wet paper with no undo is a good one, and having a commission to hit gives it a goal. Right now it looks a lot like a basic paint program, though. If the water and pigment spreading were easier to see, the simulation underneath would come through more. A little polish on the screens and the itch page would go a long way too. When a painting scored low, I wasn’t sure why, so a line on the result card telling you what to fix would help.

Honestly tho, a lot of it is just me. I am not a patient painting type guy!!! I scribble and scream! I tried not to hold my shortcomings against ya!

Played the Wash commission on a phone (Galaxy S25, Chrome, touch). Laying water and pigment in a grid of dabs and watching it spread into one sheet, with the edges darkening on their own as it dried, was the moment it clicked: you really are timing the water, not drawing. On a phone screen the paper and toolbar are quite small, and after I hit deliver and let it dry I didn't spot the judging result anywhere, so I'm not sure if it's below the fold on narrow screens. Lovely idea for a sim jam.
