Design Statement
The music felt calming almost like in a sense of being lost but in a peaceful way. For some reason my mind immediately gravitated towards the idea of lost in outer space and that really stuck on. I wanted the game to be cozy and so I knew the game's design was going to be a simpler one focused on puzzles. I really wanted to focus on the visuals for this jam as it's always been a weakness of mine as a game-developer and so I spent a lot of time making a space shader for the background that is unique to every time you load it via a seed. That's what took most of my energy during development but I focused on making the game feel good with animations, sfx (ones that change as well at random for variety) and etc. I didn't have the full time to work with so the level-design was whatever I could muster.

Game Instructions (launch steps, controls, and gameplay overview)
Played on browser, simply go to my itch page and play the game. The controls are simple simply using your mouse to click. It's a grid-based puzzle game where you can rotate around objects. Left-click for anticlockwise and right-click for clockwise rotations. Your objective is to use these rotations to move the earth into the black hole to clear the level till you complete the game.

I love the mechanic of this game, at first I wasn't sure about rotating around a square, but once I got the hang of it the rotation started feeling super intuitive! I really enjoyed the vibes, the sound design was great and the puzzles were fun, if a little easy to stumble your way through.

I like the idea of taking the 'highest' rotation count as your final score encouraging you to try to balance out your spins, but I think a little tip at the start that tells you that's how the scoring system works would help a lot in encouraging the player to 'solve' levels instead. Also a simple reset button would be super cool!

Other than that I really enjoyed the game, very simple, very fun!

Great use of the Jam theme song, I thought it fit really well and was fairly well balanced with the sfx! I appreciate the simplicity of the puzzles for a Jam entry, the challenge of doing it in as few rotations as possible was interesting but I also enjoyed speed running through all the levels too.

Love the sound effects and puzzles! While I solved most by just mashing buttons it does require you to actually try solve things and use your brain. Plus the idea of feeding the earth into a black hole is great >:)

The game is amazing! It strikes a perfect balance between graphics, style, and difficulty!!! It’s a real pleasure to play! It might not be a major, large-scale project, but as a puzzle game, it’s fantastic!
