Design Statement
It immediately struck me as "cozy-game-esque", but then shifted to otherworldly. My final interpretation of the theme was "celestial," and as such my astrophotography game was born.

AI assisted with the math involved in this game, as well as acting as a documentation consultant as this was also my first time using Godot and gdscript. Game itself was not vibecoded, but parts of the code may be AI-assisted. No texture assets were AI-generated.

This does read as an other worldly cozy game! I like the concept and focus on each moon / planet. There is a lag when selecting you moon and loading up that "level" but otherwise a cozy photo taking game that is fun!

the UI and concept are really neat, but i think this really needs some sort of tutorial round, as someone with no knowledge of photography and settings and such it would help get a better grasp of what's going on. It looks great though, love the concept!

Thank you for playing! Yeah on my checklist tutorial was unfortunately relatively low on my priorities, I was running low on time that's also why there's no sound, but I appreciate the feedback!

I will add a written tutorial when I update the itch page later today.

There were times that I would get stuck in a contract, not being able to take the picture. One thing that would enhance your game is to add some celestial audio and SFX when you take the picture. It would be satisfying to hear that "snap" camera sound and having space ambience to bring players into the world while they are taking pictures.

Thank you for playing! yes a back button would be nice, but there's no punishment for just taking a random photo

I had planned audio and sfx... but then time became very very low and i had to prioritize finishing the ui over finding/making and adding sounds, so my professional opinion is it's a "stylistic choice" because there's no sound in space ๐Ÿ˜‰
