Notes (optional)
We ran out of time to do proper tutorials, sorry for that, hope people can understand how this works.

Pre-existing assets (optional*)
we put together logic from systems we have been developing but the vast majority of it was made during the jam .... sorry for the art assets we did our best in trying to do them by hand, so no AI assets.

Awesoooome!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can easily see this being a game I'd end up buying on Steam. I love autobattlers and this was fun!

Developer(+1)

thanks Pingimingi, it is really important to have more people that like and play autobattlers testing our game, we plan to evolve this concept and fix the bugs to have something in this direction (autobattler with user made content) eventually ending up on steam for sure

What an incredible game!  This is insane.  You got such an impressive game done.  It was a lot of fun putting together a crazy monster web of fishes and battling them.  Highly original idea.

thanks a lot Sundler for stopping by and playing our game =

This is an amazing game with a lot of potential! It's so fun customising the fish and battling other people's creations!

It feels a little buggy with sometimes not being able to click on things to delete them, the camera zooming feeling a bit jerky, and the HP not properly keeping track of how much you have available between games and when deleting fish parts, but overall it's such a cool concept and fun game!

I'm excited to see where this goes in the future :D

Developer

thanks Anizy for stopping by and playing our game.

the hp thing we kinda left on purpose, we thought lets not worry about limitations for this moment, we really just wanna see what people create and how they like the creation process. There are some shortcuts that we use as developers if you wanna test them, like, for instance if you press Q it makes all pieces spawn so it makes it easier for us developers to test them and if you hold ctrl and click a piece you duplicate it, all without limitations (yeah we did not disable the shortcuts in the jam version lol)

This game seems really complex with a lot a potential! The fish monster creator is really powerful and give the player a lot of customizability!

Developer

thanks for stopping by Metal Bread =)

This is pretty rough but has a lot of potential.

It felt slow to make changes and try them out in the arena. I think if performance had been better I would've played for ages.

I'm impressed at what you've accomplished here and I'm glad to see you'll put a bit more time into it after the jam.

Developer

thanks for the comments Pix, and good insight you gave about the speed of it, there are features we have been trying like being able to select multiple pieces and duplicate them ... maybe have a way to jump into the arena from the edit space or perhaps adding some auto save background features so that you don't have to wait the db so much

Addictive gameplay and complex mechanics. I liked that to make the fish shoot urchins they have to receive blood from the fish heads or how you can make the whole monstrosities move towards the enemy with the tails.

Developer

thanks for stopping by Bulldog! the tails need some adjustments I think, its hard to balance they being too jerky and they being actually useful so you they help you escape automatic shooting fish.

How the heck did you do all this in a week?? This game has sooo much content for being a game jam game! Also, I loved the systems and got quite hooked on making the monstrocities. Super good job

thanks for stopping by Waffle! glad you liked making the monstrosities

Very creative game. Lots of things going on! I found the mood a bit bizarre and unsettling, but in a good way

Developer

thanks rhum, I am glad you liked the mood, those assets were not easy to make for non artits lol

thanks a lot for playing @Wazinga

we have this framework we have been evolving for creating multiplayer and social mechanics so what we had to do was focus on the core building the monstrosities aspect of it and the rest the framework kinda already does it.

Somethings we only managed to fix almost last minute, but as a lot of people said, there are still lots of bugs and rough edges.

We plan to keep evolving this into something less buggy after the jam ... hopefully less buggy lol

That's a lot of subsystems there, wild!
