You’re quite welcome!
Sure thing, when the project begins and I start using the toolkit more seriously I’ll definitely reach out again if I have additional feedback.
Have a good one!
Hey again, that’s great news!
Just gave it a try right now with a couple of different scenes and assets, and the new FXAA + Blur filters are wonderful. Now the N64 aesthetic is pretty much flawless to me! I have a future Zelda-like project which will require accurate N64 graphics, and I believe your asset is a clear winner for it.
Thank you again for such a rapid implementation and for your support, they are greatly appreciated. As well as making this asset in the first place, of course!
Hey Holomind, really loving your asset so far! I have but one request regarding a specific N64 feature, namely a blur/AA effect.
As of right now, geometry edges are extremely jagged even when using the default N64 profile, which is fine for a PSX aesthetic, but feels somewhat out of place for an N64 aesthetic. The N64 used to have a hardware horizontal AA effect and a lot of games added software blur on top of it.
Therefore, I was wondering if such feature was in your current roadmap. I reckon even letting us enable MSAA or using a modern FXAA filter should be enough for the desired aesthetic.
Let me know if you have plans for anything like that!
Hey! I’m creating a bunch of shaders for doing mesh deformation on the GPU, and I intend to publish them as part of a package on the Unity Asset Store. I’d like to include a few demo scenes with it, including one with humanoid models. May I include your asset in my demo scenes, and in my final published package?
