A Place That Never Ends is a short first-person game about losing someone. You wake up in a warm memory: a cup of tea, a chair across the table. Then the memory melts, and what is left is concrete. Corridors that keep bringing you back, rooms that breathe, steps behind you that stop when you turn around.

It is a horror game in its own quiet way, but more than scaring you, it wants you to feel, for a little while, what it is like to lose someone.

- About 10–15 minutes, best played in one sitting, at night, with headphones.

- No enemies and no puzzles. Only a place, and the way through it.

- Free (name your own price), for Windows and Linux.

A bit about how it was made: it's made in Godot. The laughter and the birthday song you hear in the game are real recordings of my own family: good memories with the people I love. The rest of the sound is real recordings too, no synthesized sounds. The game is dedicated to my grandparents.

I'd really love to hear what you felt while playing, even if it's just one line. Thank you for reading.

Thank you so much for playing it! I watched your video and had a great time, you’re so fun to watch, you’ve got a natural talent for this. You’ve got a new subscriber! 😄

I love that the cozy first half fooled you! At first I wanted to hide the horror completely, but then hardly anyone was playing it, so I dropped a few hints on the page. Glad it still caught you off guard!

Flipped actually started as a “normal” renovation game, until I played the latest Silent Hill and wanted to use horror to say something about housing, which here in Spain is in a really bad place: rents nobody can afford, people pushed out of their homes, houses treated as investments instead of places to live.

Thanks again for all the love, it really means a lot! <3

Thank you so much! I’ll watch it and share it. Really appreciate all the support, have a great one too! 🖤

Wow, thank you so much, this honestly means the world to me. Reading that it made you cry, and seeing it next to Kinito Pet and Your Happy Place, is something I never expected. It’s a one-person project and I put a lot of effort and care into every part of it, so knowing it hit you this hard makes all of that worth it.

And please, make that video! I’d love to watch it, so send me the link when it’s up. 🖤

About the lag when clicking between emails: I’m aware of it and have it on my list, I just hadn’t figured out how to fix it yet. Thanks for reporting it, it helps a lot. I’ll keep working on it for the next update.

Thanks again for playing it and for taking the time to write all this. It really made my day.

Hey! Yes, I just uploaded a hotfix for that. My apologies, a few parts had slipped through untranslated. Sorry for the inconvenience! If you still spot anything in Spanish, let me know and I’ll fix it right away. Your save still works.

Increíble, buscaba un juego con una atmosfera como este. Simplemente cine.

Thank you so much, I’m really glad you’re enjoying it! It happened on graphics cards without Vulkan support, where the game ran out of memory for some visual effects and drew the rest black. It’s fixed in the latest version, so just download it again. Your save still works. Thanks for letting me know!

Sorry about that! The weeds are placed randomly and I didn’t control it well enough, so some ended up inside the bushes. I’ve just uploaded a fix for that one and a couple of others I found. Your current save still works, so you don’t need to start over. Thanks for the feedback and for playing! 🙂

Pretty fun, and a great game :)

Thank you so much, I’m really glad you’re enjoying it! The fix is already up. Oh, and while you’re in that house… look closely. Not everything is visible at first glance 👀

Thanks a lot for reporting it, and for playing the game! I’m planning to release an update with more fixes very soon, and this one will be included. 🙂

No, that one was my mistake 😅 I hadn’t noticed it, but it’s funny to know it could pass as part of the game. I’ll upload a fix for it.

And you’re totally right, I left the free workshop a bit aside and missed that detail. I’ll include it in the same fix.

Thanks a lot for the feedback and for playing. As my first released game, it really means a lot!

Tengo un problema en el juego. Cuando se me cierra y se vuelve a abrir, la música deja de sonar y no se puede hacer nada. (Juegazo, por cierto)

Esto ocurre cuando se pone el fondo de pantalla.
