personally. i think it comes to the idea of being able to explore these ideas without the risk of being hurt for me personally. dark romance is such a huge niche, and it is deeply unsettling for most. i think people find a lot of comfort in the idea of being wanted so badly. obviously most of these themes are terrible in real life, so being able to explore them in a safe space such as your room and on a computer is nice for people.

third ending is to take medication from ian, be suspicious of ian  and keep his romance meter low, choose to stab adrien, then go through the sequences. to escape. remember the phone number and the address from the package in the bedroom and you will get third end!

fourth ending is to take the medication from ian, boost ian bar for romance, youll know if he appears after the second night in ur room. choose to stab adrien, go through the sequences to escape. remember the phone number and address, and then go through the escape sequence, and tadaaaa ~ fourth ending :)
