The credits and settings buttons didn't work for me. Also the game looks like it's online only? There wasn't anyone playing when I played so the world was empty, maybe I just didn't manage to advance enough? The graphics look nice though, and the music had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I also have a sweet spot for multiplayer games so I was really glad to see an entry like yours. Obviously couldn't really judge it so I can't rate this game, maybe if I can find some time to play it with friends I'll come back and give you the rating you deserve. If you have time, Please checkout our submission too :)

The game looks off in full screen, I'd block the option to change the full screen mode if I were you. If there was any logic to what hand the dragon kept the sapphire in I didn't get it at all. I will say the game art is beautiful and the music is very calming and mysterious which I liked. Overall good job! Please check out our game too if you have the time :)

The concept seems pretty interesting, but I gave up after like two minutes from not being able to understand the logic behind whether or not a flirt succeeded or not. Still I see the vision and this still looks like very good progress for one week. For your next jam I'd suggest having some play testers while you make the game (like friends and family), obviously the game has to be close enough to done which can be a bit of a problem. For us we were only able to get 2 play testers two days before the jam ended but we still got a lot of useful feedback. And we managed to improve most of the points they told us about. Obviously no game is gonna be perfect, especially not in a week, it just helps you see what you miss from being so absorbed in the game making process.
I really hope you continue doing jams. Like I said, really good progress, Good job! Please check our game out too if you have the time :)

Thank you for playing and for the comment :)

thank you very much for playing our game :)

I assume it's a bug but after 1m the time keeps counting seconds waay past 60. Also the credit button doesn't work. But the game is incredibly fun! I spent like 20 minutes just toying around with different levels I thought would work to solve a level. I really liked the grading system. Good job! Please try out our game too if you have the time

I faced a bug where I couldn't open the door and was stuck alone in a room. I didn't get to play a lot before that but from what little I have played I'll say the music was great and I got a little jump scare from the lady which was very fitting. Good job! (If you have time, please play and rate our game too)

also, if you have time, please check out our game too.

The music is very fitting of the atmosphere. I didn't really get how I won lol. But I see the vision and for a first game this is a nice start! I hope you guys keep making games! Show this to your friends and your parents. Nothing better than sharing a game you're proud of with close ones.

The game looked really interesting but I couldn't really connect the dots. It's not even clear if I got it right or no since the game just closed after the ending scene. Regardless the sfx sound very crisp, and the pixel art is beautiful. It's clear you've put a lot of effort into this game. Good job!

I laughed so loud when the kid pressed the button. Game is very very enjoyable. I spent like 30 minutes on it before I even realized it. I didn't manage to be a good enough ruler this time but I might come back to try again. In any case, good job!

Incredible game, beautiful pixel art. So fun to see entries like this in a jam. Good job!

This game was really fun
And really made me question my intelligence lol
beautiful art as well
good job!

The game was so much fun and the art was beautiful. I assume the fact that I needed to buy more snacks to even have access to my previous snacks was a bug, but other than that I didn't see any other bug. Great job! Out of the games I've played up to now, this is definitely my favorite and the one I hope wins!

Great game! was really fun to play! the controls were so easy and the art looked so nice even though it was simple. Loved it! Might even come back for a few plays after the jam ends

The game was very fun. I enjoyed the art and the gameplay.
A few things:

  1. I got a blue rectangle to my right at all time? is it supposed to be there?
  2. I'd much rather you used controls different than shift and control. This is obviously preference, but for me(and I assume many others that didn't turn off this feature), pressing shift 5 times(which can happen a lot in this game because of the jumping) brings out a popup asking me if I want to activate sticky keys
  3. level 3 crushed after I died too many times, pretty unfortunate.

But I do want to end with another praise and say that pressing the arrows more for more momentum was a great idea(even if you took it from other games, it was the first time I saw it) and I really loved messing around with the accelaration.

It was very hard to play so I didn't play it for too long(I got frustrated quickly lol), but it looked very fun if you have the skill. And I liked the art a lot!
The music didn't work for me for some reason though, even though it was allegedly at full volume.

yeah the blue bg is something that used to happen consistently

From the other comments it looks like we did manage to fix some of the cases with out last minute fix(like 5h before the jam ended, but it was 1am for us)

A shame it didn't work for you but thanks for playing!

We originally planned on multiple types of enemies but given the fact that we didn't even have the time to make the monkeys look where they move(just a rotation). It was obvious to us that we didn't have the time for more enemies.

(1 edit)

Thanks! Much appreciated!

i put them on the game page, didn't know how to put it on the submission page

Thanks for playing!

the trees are randomly placed.
There are bridges on both sides of a room to go back and forth(just the right one on the first room, cause you can't go back from there), they look weird cause they were painted and then we realized they were barely visible, but like the purple mess at the edges are "doors"
