me. im working on a sound engine so you can do all those retro sounds in real time and in high fidelity for reasonable CPU cost. that means environmental reverb, fireballs that sound different every time depending on how they are thrown what they hit how fast they are moving etc.

engines, weather, gun sounds, space ships, sci fi sounds in general, vehicle sounds in general, atmospheres, realtime reverb based on room shape, I can do anything and everything given enough time to figure out how. see my work

synthesized helicopter (or lawn mower?): https://drive.google.com/file/d/13mzVKvE9g9n-Py6pVUc9UXyUtb7aMN2W/view?usp=drive...

the benefit of realtime audio synthesis:

  • more sonically pleasing than pre-recorded samples (assuming the sound can be practically synthesized)
  • potential for in-game synthesizers and DJ software
  • audio-reactive graphics and perfect audiovisual sync
  • this is not your grandma's chiptune sfx generator, I do sound design with a lifetime of experience in audio dsp, analog modelling, and resynthesis
  • efficient sound generators for in game musical instruments

yes hello i just joined, too lazy and busy to put up a profile pic right now.
