Hooray~! Game jam is about to end and voting will soon begin.

Please check out the entries of our participants and vote, vote, vote~!

For late submissions, you can post you game links on this thread.

Good luck and I hope you had fun. 😊

During the 90s, way back when I was in elementary school, I set my eyes on playing the Suikoden series. Why? It’s the kind of game with substance. It’s fun to play, and you get to see both the beautiful and ugly sides of the world, with political events that also mirror real life, the mystery of the runes and Sindar, the gathering of allies, and all actions having consequences. I just love it!

But I’m still yearning for the timeline after the Suikoden 3 events. Most of the games released are reenactments of past timelines in Suikoden. So I wondered, how will the story unfold after everything that has happened?

And this is my take on things. I’ve finally decided to develop a game about the present and the future of the Suikoverse. I hope you join me on my game dev journey and in brainstorming. Also, I hope I can pour my heartfelt love for the series into the game I’m making.

As a side note, I’ve changed the naming process in my game. Just to be safe.

Thanks for dropping by~!

Hi, everyone!

12 more days and the game jam’s about to end.

How are you doing with your entries?

I hope you’ve been having a great creative time. I’m really excited to see whether your games will make us laugh or quietly break our hearts.

Happy game making!

May hearts beat this April. ❤️

Yes, sure. I welcome all types of game engine with this game jam. As long as it's playable by web or by downloading.

And that... Made me curious. 🤣

Please ask away.

Yes, for sure! 😉

I shall return with more themes, more brainstorming on my end. 🤣

I am also very grateful, very honored to have all of you wonderful people join this game jam. It was my first time hosting, and I'm glad that people took notice and even submitted entries.

I am always amazed by how one can finish a game in such a short time, having a solid idea of what direction they should be taking. I don't know how to have that kind of discipline, focus, clairvoyance, and dedication to making it just... happen. So, I told myself, if I have the chance to make these game developers shine, I'll do my best to support them.

With that, I'll be looking forward to more games and creative content.

May all of you flourish and gain more insights.

Set the world ablaze. 🔥

Thank you so much, too, for joining my very first hosted game jam. It means a lot to me that someone would notice me and the random ideas I share to the public.

Keep up the good work!

The experience I had with your creation actually reminded me of my father who had left the world. I remembered and felt his love, sacrifices and protection, so, here is me--- teary eyed. 🥹🥹🥹

Thank you for giving us that feeling. It was nice, warm. 🔥

Sorry, WinterIsWhite. I've made sure it's the correct person now.
To my fellow fiery contestant, congratulations! 🔥

Congratulations, WinterIsWhite!

Sure, you can. As long as you don't change the storyline or where the game is going. It's okay to fix the bug.

The gameplay in this game feels fresh to me. I really enjoyed the Kindle mechanics and the dynamic temperature changes. It adds a unique layer of strategy. At first, I thought only the host would pressure participants with time, but suddenly I found myself racing against it too. 🤣

The mapping is well done and practical. The items you get through foraging feel meaningful. You used the time limit cleverly, especially by adding descriptions to each item and character. It makes everything feel more alive.

It can be challenging to move around with monsters constantly chasing you, but it’s manageable, and honestly, that’s where the fun comes in.

Overall, it’s a warm game that truly lights the flames of hope for the inhabitants of Embersoul Castle. 🔥

The elements of fire can be seen all over the game. I like how you did your mapping: details, placement of sprites.

The battle system is unique. It's like rock-paper-scissors, with clues. I rarely see this implemented on RPG Maker. It was a good eventing.

You've got a colorful and reactive NPC. The story drew me in. I got teary-eyed with the ending. I think anyone with loving parents will understand the sacrifices they do to protect their family.

Such a heartwarming game. 🔥

This game is full of fire~! 🔥

I've finished only one ending. I'll be replaying it to see the others.

Though, the pyromancer finally has his party. Wohoo~!

Puzzle is well-thought. Story shows banters, characters maturing, exploring and finally finding their right companions.

This is like a prologue to something bigger.

May more fiery adventures await this group of misfits.

I've managed to complete different endings. (I might be a spoiler if I tell how many endings this game has.)

Also, I love the fiery lines you've dropped here and there.

I did get lost when you told me not to. 🤣 That's the puzzle part I enjoyed.

Overall, it was a blazing adventure! 🔥

It sure is a unique one. I think it's my first time playing this kind of game where you move two things at the same time to reach a goal.

It's fun, mind-boggling. 🤯 I can't fathom how someone could event this in RPG Maker. 👏

Lesson Taught: Patience is a virtue. 🤣

I can't finish level 3, having a hard time with the up and down balls.

But, I shall return and persevere. You've lit my heart burning. 🔥Literally. 🤣

Congratulations on finishing a fiery game!

You did great, and I hope you had fun along the way.

Don't forget to check out the other entries and cast your vote.

From a single spark, you've made something burn bright.🔥

If you were able to finish a game but haven’t submitted it, feel free to share the link here so we can still check it out.

Let’s not let your effort go to waste.

Even a tiny spark can grow into a raging fire. 🔥

The game jam has ended.

It’s been a fun journey filled with brainstorming, eventing, and polishing.

Well done!

Each of your entries stands beautifully on its own, and I’m truly proud of you for finishing and submitting your game.

Thank you for giving my game jam a shot. I hope you had just as much fun creating as I did hosting.

Now, onto the next phase: take some time to check other submissions and vote for the entries that best meet the criteria.

See you in 5 days for the announcement of winners.

Until then, keep the embers alive — the brightest flames are yet to rise. 🔥

I've tried it again and there is no more error. Maybe, the loading of the page or my internet connection is the culprit. 🤣✌️

Hello! Thanks for submitting an entry.

I would like to inform you that it has an audio error when you enter the cave.

The transfer event is requiring a Move audio. I hope you can still fix it. :)

Tell me a heads up if you've updated it.

Congratulations on finishing your game!

You've made me proud as someone who loves games. Keep up the amazing work!

Don't forget to check out the other submissions and share your support by voting as well.

You kept the primordial fire burning. 🔥

Don't worry. I'll be waiting. ☺️ There's still some time before this game jam ends.
