Thanks Lucas, glad it's hitting the right spot. It's Windows only but I haven't ruled out Linux. The app is Python under the hood so it's not a rewrite, it's the build, the audio device side, and keeping two versions tested that's the real work. I'm a one person shop so it is about demand for it that is a big factor. What would you be using it with, Godot?

This may be helpful for you. Loopsmith exports are already cross-platform. The loop files, the Godot, Unity, and Web recipes, and the FMOD kit script all work the same on Linux. The two live "send straight into FMOD / Wwise" buttons are the exception, they talk to the middleware on the same machine, so they'd stay Windows for now (and Wwise itself doesn't run on Linux). I haven't tried the Windows demo under Wine on Linux, but if you try it, tell me what happens.

Hi Itch Community,

Here is my site with a direct link to my music: https://www.austinhaynesmusic.com/#music

I’ve been composing for over twenty years. A major highlight was collaborating with Jon Anderson of Yes on a piece called Earth & Peace, performed with orchestra. I also scored Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller, which won Best Music and was an incredible experience creating psychological cinematic and synth‑driven music for Phoenix Online Studios.

I also sing and release instrumental albums, which you can find on my Bandcamp page: https://austinhaynes.bandcamp.com/

For indie devs and fellow composers, I recently created a tool called Loopsmith here on Itch. It helps you build seamless loops and inclues code you can use in several supported game engines: https://austinhaynes.itch.io/loopsmith

If you’re looking for a composer or just want to say hello, I’d love to hear from you.

Happy dev and music making!
