Do you just buy cards or do you also play them after putting them in your hand ? (I probably need to add some text to show this)

First, thank you for your feedback !
Cards attack a random enemy (I just added it to the How to play info).
Some cards/heroes have "On play" effects. If you were able to put cards back into your hand, it would be too powerful. (It's a gameplay choice here.)
Bots play like you: rolling to get cards, buying them, selling them, and trying to build a better board following some rules. BUT, players in a game don't share the same card pool for now. A card just has a % chance to show up when you roll. I'll probably add a shared pool in a later update.
There are two kinds of growth right now: height and muscle. Height is visible on anyone, that's the treadmill. Muscle is the weight rack, but it's harder to show with the models I use, so for now it only applies to employees: if one of them crosses a strength threshold during the day, her model changes the next morning. Clients gain strength on paper but you won't see it on them yet.
Thanks for the report. I tried to reproduce it with Kendra, same thing you described (height training first, then strength training), but nothing went wrong on my end.
If it happens again, could you tell me roughly how tall she was, which machine she was using, and whether you were playing the web or the Windows build? A screenshot would help a lot too.
I will try to add new employees (one 3D model is already ready to go).
I also want to add new exercise equipment. I just need to find humanoid animations and/or models for it.
There will be decorations at some point, but it's not a priority.
What's planned for the future, as written on the front page:
- Save system
- Employees who restock shelves on their own
- Additional gameplay types: cleaning and equipment repair
- More buildings, for atmosphere and potentially new features
- Client satisfaction and gym reputation
- General polish and UI improvements
Treadmill = Height gain, Weight rack = Strength gain. Right now Strength isn't visually noticeable because I don't have a way to change character models based on it. Next update though, some models WILL react to strength gains! Also thinking about adding a way to see a character's height/strength stats listed somewhere, just gotta find the time for it.
I'd like to work a little more on the game, but it's REALLY hot right now where I live... I'll try to post an update once a month, but this one will be a little later—it's impossible to work on it right now (or do anything else, for that matter).
I’ve already been working on some new 3D models, and I hope to add the employee and growth systems for them.
Thanks for the feedback!
Game speed could happen at some point, not a priority right now though.
Top-down rearranging is probably not the direction I want to go, I'm trying to keep the simulation feel. Maybe later!
Building expansion is definitely on my mind, just need to sort out some 3D stuff before I can make it work properly.
Glad you're enjoying it!
The next update will let you pack, move and sell placed equipment so reorganizing your gym will be much easier.
For tracking gym clients' progression, I don't really plan to go further with that (unless I find a way to get better models with shape keys, or just a lot more models). But I will be adding hireable employees at some point: you'll be able to train them and they'll gain visible physical progression over time, with a screen to track their stats and body changes. Models will update the next day once certain stat thresholds are reached.
