itch.io

Saw your post a month ago, and kept it saved in case I needed it later.

Unfortunately, nothing has changed for me since then project wise, but it would be nice to have a more secure contact for when I do have a project ready for music.

If you're up to it, I can DM you and talk about more specific details.

Ya... we thought of that too, put the team decide the amount of content needed and the system to make it work in the first place would take too long to develop.

Thanks for playing!

I'm so confused now...

How did a game about answering emails stress you out??

Unless you uploaded to a spam email. Then that's relatable. It's also my fav interraction out of the whole thing.

Thanks for playing!

Sorry, I forgot to add some instructions. They're in the desc now.

Thanks for the response!

Hope you enjoy!

Don't expect to beat hard mode, as I haven't actually done that myself either. Thanks!

Hope you enjoy!

Its entirely 2D! I used a technique called sprite stacking and modified it a little bit. Thanks for playing!

Hope you enjoy!

Not sure if your live, but here's mine! https://bd2010.itch.io/cheater

I'm unable to watch, but I hope you enjoy!

Hope you enjoy for next steam! (If you have time)

I just saw how you responded on stream... :P

Could you link me to the Discord and I can comment there?

I can't comment... Discord is my only form of socials. Is there a way to account for that?

I'm a little confused as how your steam works. I wasn't able to be there during it, but as I watched the live afterward, I looked at your list and my game wasn't there. Are the games randomly chosen?

Check it out if you want!

I've participated in 3 jams prior.

I started the jam a little disappointed in the theme, as I'm not one to prefer spinning, but I started thinking anyways. I severely underscoped the project idea, and by day 4 I had everything I had planned out designed and just added more content for the rest of the week.

The submission time ends, and my project is getting more views, comments, and interaction in general than I've ever received before, and I even got featured in a YouTube video by a small creator! Everything is turning out pretty great for the end of the jam.

I have hopes, but in a jam of this size, I don't expect too much.  I'm just glad people are genuinely enjoying my game.  :)

Good luck with the rest of the jam!

Thanks for playing!

Next time you get the chance, and if you want to,  do pay attention to the music. There are actually 3 different tracks playing throughout the game. In your video, you encountered all 3, so it shouldn't be too hard to find them again.

I will say that they are pretty similar, and the fact you didn't notice them means my code worked perfectly!

You have no idea how much it makes me happy to see someone play my game. Thank you!! :D

From what the other players have said, it's very relaxing and a fun game. Hope you enjoy!

https://bd2010.itch.io/cheater

It's not rigged I promise :P

https://bd2010.itch.io/cheater

This one is pretty short, unless you want to keep going. :P

https://bd2010.itch.io/cheater

Art is pretty cool, some of the enemies didn't render for me but that's probably my device, and there seems to be a bias towards shield and poison, but that could just be my luck :P

Good job!

Hope you enjoy!

Thanks for the feedback! I used a modified version of a trick called Sprite Stacking to make the 3D effect. Thanks for playing!

This is really fun! I had a few occurances where enemies would spawn on top of me, causing me to take damage, but everything else is pretty good! I especially like the upgrades. Who knew 6 boomerangs that explode would be OP? :P

Too late for feedback, but a rate would be awesome!

https://bd2010.itch.io/cheater

I think I'm a bit late to ask for bug finders, so just have fun with this. And I can tell you with absolute certainty, IT'S NOT RIGGED! :P

Man. I hope you have time to do all of these!

https://bd2010.itch.io/cheater

If you get to this after the jam ratings start, please do rate the game.

Thanks!

The loose objects seem to be effected more by the vertical axis than the horizontal, unless there's some sort of "objects have personal gravity mechanic". I am very confused.

I am adding content till the jam ends. Not sure about new systems tho. Thanks for the feedback!

Came because of the Meta Game, stayed because this is really fun!
I did found that if I went to a fire, didn't fully take care of it, and left, the little fire icon wouldn't reappear, and didn't know there was upgrades I could pick until I had already done ~50 fires, but very fun game! Good job!

Good luck! :D

I use Godot, so I'm not sure how it would transfer over, but maybe you could find something to reparent the dart so it is a child of the board?

This is all under the assumption that GameMaker has a parent - child relationship structure in the first place.

EDIT: Just saw that another person had already recommended this. Whoops. :P

Is this commission based? Or are you offering for the fun of the jam?

I would say no! My first game jam using the Godot engine was my best jam I've done since! Good luck!
