This is beautiful. Peak game with banger tracks (Now as an audio guy, some of the looping is obvious, and some more UI/UX sound effects would be next level, maybe some custom voice blips to give each character more character or paper rustling for opening the notebook/clicking the paper thumbtack buttons, just the lil things) still an amazing game!
Okay, so haiii! (and now actual feedback) So it’s a visual novel (so it's pretty simple gameplay-wise), and it's a pretty solid one at that! The writing is fabulous, and the choice to swap the labels works well with the theme and the idea. However, the implementation of your art needed some help. For example, the character portraits are partly covered/behind the text area, making it hard to see. Another thing would be having some variance in the portrait to show more character for the characters.
Now, as an audio guy... It's time for some audio judging. The OST is actually really solid. There’s a nice amount of variance in the tracks/songs themselves, and they work well together. (The instrumentation is similar, it feels very cohesive.) One thing is that I would love some better transitions from track to track. Either fading in/out cross fading or having stingers to use as transitions, instead of just cutting to the next track.
My biggest thing is that there are no SFX! Right now, the absence of SFX makes the experience feel a bit too clean, almost sterile. Some text/voice blips, a UI SFX for pressing buttons, just something to add texture to the game. But more importantly, the labels should have sound. A faint glass hum or ringing gives them presence. When you swap them, that’s a moment, add a soft crack, shimmer, or warped glass sound to sell it. You can also layer in light character-based textures (phone ticks for Marcus, or paper rustling for Priya) to reinforce identity.
Overall, I think you've got a great foundation it just needs some polishing (and SFX!)

I think this has a great foundation! The movement feels good (I would love some coyote time and faster shooting), but I have no critiques from a gameplay perspective.
Now, as an audio guy... the OST is very repetitive. This isn't inherently a bad thing, but if its repetative, you have to make sure that the player doesn't get listener fatigue. Right now, the loop feels very exposed. Because the track doesn’t evolve much over time, the player becomes aware of the repetition pretty quickly. One way to address this isn’t just adding more songs (though that would definitely help), but also introducing variation within a track. Things like vertical layering, subtle instrumentation changes, or interactive elements that respond to gameplay. Even small changes can go a long way in making a loop feel alive.
However, I would recommend changing the genre (or style) of music. I think a long 10-minute ambient track would be perfect for this game, to match the wasteland that is outside THE BOX. More tracks with distinct styles would also help break things up and give different areas or moments their own identity. But I would be tricky, as this game is one area.
I’d also love to hear the sound design pushed a bit further to support the gameplay. Things like footsteps, jump and landing SFX, and more environmental interactions are opportunities to reinforce feedback and add texture.
Overall, the foundation is solid! It just needs more variation and responsiveness to really elevate the experience! (holy yap. whoops)
Well look no further
