Thanks Nev! If you ever want to look further into it and play an online game, HMU.

Hi Ek Bass. The submission page had that box as optional.
Here is the GitHub repository.

2 years ago was the cardboard prototype. I built the online version over the last few months.
Thank you for the feedback netravelr! I will look into it. I used little model ships in the physical version but I was having a hard time replicating that digitally. I'll think through this more and see what I can do.

I spent months building the board game I always wanted to play, then put it in the browser so anyone can sit down at the table.
Taipan is a naval trading and combat board game for four captains. Roll, sail, and haul cargo to the islands that pay best, or skip the honest work and raid the ships that did it. Upgrade your fleet piece by piece until your rivals start sailing around you. First to 16 tallies wins.
Solo plays great: the three CPU captains all scheme differently, and the Raider will teach you respect. Online is one shared link, no signups, friends in seconds. There's pass-and-play for the couch, a tutorial that gets you sailing in minutes, and a full rulebook one tap away.
Free, no account, no download, no ads. Built and run by one person.

I'd love to hear where it grabs you and where it loses you. I read everything.
