Thanks for the reply. So, is it normal for new games to be flagged as threats by virus scanners? Does that put users off, or is it a known phenomenon?

Hello, I wrote a game in Python and made it available for download. I tested it on a new PC and received a notification from the antivirus software indicating a problem. VirusTotal also showed 5/65 detections. Is it common to get false positives like this?
