The goal was to have the race end with a screaming stop, where you may splat against the wall if you don’t give yourself enough heat headroom to slow down. We didn’t get the time to add the feedback that needed to feel its best. Glad you liked it otherwise!

I always like a clone puzzle, and this one was nicely paced. I think being able to have a little more control when selecting the clone to control would be nice, even if just the mouse to select. I also wasn’t 100% sure if some of my solutions were the correct ones or whether I found a cheese. For a first game jam, this was super solid!

Was really fun to burst into a room and mow down 30 enemies. Would have liked to get a little bonus for headshots.

Thank you so much! Really glad the game landed for you. We wanted to add a mouse sensitivity slider and calibration bit, but unfortunately ran out of time.

Thank you!

Sorry about the rough tutorial, it is unfortunately pretty useful for figuring it out. In case you missed it, there is more information in the description on the game page. Thanks for giving it a go.

Glad you liked it, thanks for playing!

The car sprite is nice!

This feels great to play! Killing a big swarm of enemies in fury mode is very rewarding.

Super fun, counting down how long you have on the nitro builds good tension! Funny to see a similar system used in both our games!

Fun game! Wasn’t expecting the external loop of upgrading, and going back on runs - was fun to build the car to get as far as possible. If you were to develop this further it would be nice for the camera to pull out as you gain speed, as especially once i had some more upgrades I spent a lot of each race hitting obstacles that had just came from off screen haha.

Really fun! Intro cutscene was super well animated. Getting a hang of the mechanics and mastering them - especially the dash was a great time!

Really enjoyed this! Fun core loop, reminded me of dome keeper! It was fun to make the mine more efficient so I could more quickly get to the deeper more valuable resources!

The mario kart style drift is fun!

Creating a build as you dive deeper down the hellevator was fun!

Fun vibe! Wasn’t expecting to see voice over in one of these!

Glad you liked it! Sorry about the tutorial hahah

Really glad we put a skip tutorial button in hahah. Happy you figured your way around it but sorry you had to, it’s why we left the tutorial kinda late cause most of the game is figure-out-able, just didn’t for see it being an active deterrent. Glad you liked it otherwise, thanks for playing.

Yeah clicking to progress the tutorial text was a bad decision made too close to the deadline unfortunately. This probably a truly awful experience on track pad hahha. Hopefully it stops being too much with some more play, the gauge on top shouldn’t be very relevant if you’re shifting well and not crashing too much but yeah the general onboarding is rough and would be way better if we drop fed some of that stuff. Also hasn’t heard of Death Race and it may be the coolest thing of all time will definitely watch. Thanks for giving it a go!

I couldn’t figure out how to beat the game but it was really fun. I love when he says “Glass” and I get to go 1 billion speed.

Super helpful feedback! Glad you liked it we weren’t sure a racing game where you accelerate one time would work but happy it landed for you.

Yeah you right, we conceptually thought the tutorial would work so left it a bit too late. Glad you liked it.

Yeah sorry the tutorial is a little rough and spits a bunch of info at you while driving which is doubly difficult. We do explain pretty much everything in the description on the game page, but sorry that it’s a bit of a rough onboard. Glad you liked the car fighting you, a bit of a tricky thing to balance, thank for playing.

I really liked all the little puzzles, reminded me of the best parts of the Impossible Quiz back in the day. Took me a few tries. Cool game!

This game is INCREDIBLY good. Top-notch game feel and creative concept, genuinely rivalling similar feeling games like hyperdemon in terms of satisfying gameplay (Which is a very high bar). I just want to keep playing it. So I will. Great submission!

Fun game, there was a lot of things happening and it was pretty confusing at first. Really cool presentation! I could see a longer version of this game working really well because theres a lot of cool ideas but they dont have too much room to breathe. I liked all of the pizza mechanics and the different abilities.

Oh fair enough yeah I don’t think we had time to fully test the game reset sorry about that. We did plan to make grabbing the wheel better just unfortunately ran out of time. Glad it’s worth it to push through and thank you for doing so hahaha

Oh no not sure whats up with the document bug, you do return to the same document in between races and it should accrue more and more stamps, it sort of pays off at the end. With the wheel you should be able to click anywhere on the wheel the hit box for it is way bigger than the wheel so not sure why that’s being fiddly for you sorry about that. Glad you’re enjoying it despite the annoyances.

Yeah we left adding the tutorial a little late and didn’t expect it to have such an impact, sorry it’s a bit of a pain. Thanks for playing.

Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to really onboard well and tighten the controls up enough, they are supposed to be on the edge of uncontrollable but can be a little too far the wrong way. Glad you liked it, thanks for playing.

Thank you!

Glad you liked it! I played your submission earlier today and I was hooked on it for almost an hour, Great stuff! Thank you for playing!

Was a bit tough getting the out-of-control balance right, happy to hear you figured it out. Glad you liked it.

Narrative was thoughtful, and presented interestingly - although somewhat too frequent compared to the gameplay - losing a bit of its weight. Platforming was a little frustrating, the narrative may have been better served by a different game at it’s core.

This game was GREAT! Incredible visuals and game feel, and a very unique idea of moving your aim for each heartbeat. Feels like theres a lot there to master. Every upgrade felt like a tense and useful choice. Great game. If this was a full game i would buy it and play for a while for sure!

A really interesting idea! Time ticking with each tile placement and the world running on its own timer made for some really interesting tile placement situations. The world feels like it’s building itself in a really interesting and organic way, and it feels like you’re adapting to the natural shape of it. Has a strong time-impermanence arc to it. It does lack quite a lot of feedback, but it’s genuinely a great idea if you were able to take it further post-jam.

Platforming is fun! Like others have said, eventually the level cannot be beaten.

Cool concept!

This was quite fun! Super satisfying to get a full countdown with 0 missed shots!

Was fun to zip around the level! Wall bouncing out of a dash felt cool!
