The first thing I do in every game I make is change all fonts to Open-dysletic. Just insert the font folder and then change all fonts in the GUI-file. That way I don't have to make a new buttom (So I force the accessibility on everyone...). So my GUI-file is contains:
define gui.text_font = "OpenDyslexicRegular.ttf"
## The font used for character names.
define gui.name_text_font = "OpenDyslexicRegular.ttf"
## The font used for out-of-game text.
define gui.interface_text_font = "OpenDyslexicRegular.ttf"
(I'm sure there is a way to put a button in the options menu to change these.... )
Probably something like :
textbutton "Basic" action [SetVariable (Figure out what to put here to make it work)]
In the, screen preferences():Oh another two day entry, then there is atleast two of us(I started mine in the evening and had to compleate it the morning after). Considering the constraints good job. (to bad that the backgrounds didn't mach the sprites, but that is understandable). I hope you had fun making this despite the time constraint.
The issue is not whatever you worked hard or not, the issue lies with the fact that you didn't follow the rules of the jams you entered with this.
The rules of Spooktober explicitly bans AI(the rules state "No generative AI usage in any aspect of your project."),
The rules of Hawktober Horrors 2026 states: "Absolutely no Generative AI can be used to create games for this jam".
And you enterd "Slapjam AI"(a jam where you have to use AI to follow the rules), with this entry.
So you basically told on yourself that this is made with AI, and therefore broke the rules.
Regardles if you worked hard or not you can't be in Spooktober, Hawktober and Slapjam with the same entry, without breaking the rules of atleast one.
My tip is READ THE RULES BEFORE you start working on a jam.
