My name is Daniel, and I am the developer of "SCP: Affection" under the name "Chocotila Games".

First, I want to say that I'm sorry your team had to deal with the situation surrounding Collective Shout and the resulting restrictions on paid games in the "Adult" category.

It has now been about a year since those changes were introduced. I was hoping you might reconsider the current policy, or at least let me know whether there is any possibility of restoring direct sales for established developers.

Before July 2025, approximately 80% of my income came from selling my game directly on itch.io. Since those changes, I have relied almost entirely on Patreon, and my income has dropped to the point where it has been difficult to support myself as an independent developer.

Other storefronts, such as Steam, continue to allow the sale of adult games under their own moderation policies. Because of that, I wanted to ask whether itch.io has any plans to restore paid Adult game sales in the future.

If a platform-wide change is not possible, would you consider making an exception for my account? I have been committed to developing and supporting my game, and I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to continue selling it directly through itch.io again.

I value itch.io as a platform and would be happy to continue contributing to its ecosystem through game sales and the platform's revenue share.
