Hi, thanks for the valuable feedback. If everyone left a comment or suggestion, I’d be able to improve things significantly. Yes, my English is quite basic and I make terrible mistakes—I'll be more careful.

I've now completely rewritten the physics for this game, with noticeable improvements to both damage and on-road/off-road handling, and I might release the next version soon (I've been working on it in my spare time for years now).

By the way, I was actually thinking of calling the game Scrap Metal (PC version), just to breathe new life into my historic series of the famous driving game. But this time as a PC version.

It's not the heavy DQS in itself, but in this context it's an aggravating factor because, with hair strand-based groom already sacrificing the GPU, adding physics-enabled clothing and DQS on top of that makes the performance cost significant. Unfortunately, the blanket is very short in VR, and you always have to make design choices that can't satisfy every aspect. Yes, Unreal is much more convenient from that point of view, but unfortunately, it's not very well suited for VR performance.

Thank you, I've been putting a lot of work into it!

The game and its creator kit are actually built on Unity URP, and the characters are based on and fully compatible with DAZ Genesis 9.

Regarding the skinning, I'm currently using bone-driven JCMs (which still need some refinement). While Dual Quaternion Skinning is great, it comes with a heavier computational cost that would drastically reduce the number of characters you can have on screen at once—a common bottleneck for games in this genre.

A lighter version for Quest will arrive in the future, but I need to finish developing the PC version first.

You are welcome 😉

Unity 2018 ;-)

Yes, thank you. The link was for the old alpha which I removed from Claude, but I forgot to update the link on this post.

Thanks a lot for your feedback!

I haven’t had the chance to test with 4-hour videos yet.

you have to sign in?

This tool currently only works with public videos.

I tested it on Windows 10, but it should also work on 7 and 11.

no, only on web browser.
