I am interested. I am an author with experience in commissioned works for others, and I currently have a novel out for query that is focused on psychological realism and interpersonal conflict from my years working in crisis support/triage.

I also have experience in programming Python and other business languages from MATLAB to VB(A) for business an data applications. I'm hoping to produce a game, myself, soon in UE or Godot. I can write and contribute to "what we can do with this script" in both a creative and technical capacity.

I am mainly a writer, but I have experience programming for business systems (want to get into game programming!).

I have also acted as creative director for a number of live shows/performances and some game design for a startup that hit 50k users and gained private funding through a celebrity endorsement and incubation at some Disney business incubator (I'm not a business person, they just send me "hey how do i..." and I answer 🤣. I find joy in answering questions, learning new things...)

I'm interested in your project and want to learn more!

That's cool!
I am not an expert at the other languages, but I am learning some now if you are expanding into Swahili or Hawaiian.

I would love to help out on the English side!
I have been both a technical writer on a number of time-sensitive projects (whitepapers, SOP, instruction, system design) and a developmental and line editor for fiction.

Questions I have for now
Do I need to be fluent in two of the languages listed?
Do you have a design document or a goal of "strict, absolute grammar rules" or more "here's how an English/Spanish/French speaker would say it" type of editing?

I am a writer with years of commissioned works under my belt and one manuscript currently queried traditionally. My educational background is mechanical engineering, with additional coursework completed in: electrical engineering, programming, writing and photography a. I have a special interest in Science Fiction and character driven stories (which is the manuscript currently queried). I act as developmental editor for others as well related to psychological realism, motivations and conflict outside of the graphic (monster>run).

I am not a very good programmer for games, but I do have experience programming business applications. I can talk confidently with programmers during the development process when it comes to narrative inputs and "programmatically easy tasks" versus "why are you asking me for this complex event trigger..."

I was creative director, lighting and sound design and more for a live theater from 2016-2025 (theater closed down in October), and I am currently editor for a documentary series looking to get picked up by Netflix. While I don't know the jargon for game lighting and sound, I can definitely follow and create the scenes/work with the scenes visually while writing.

I am terribly sorry... I posted this when I was just getting sick and had made a new account. Coming out of it I realized I hadn't saved my password and blissfully went along not realizing I wasn't logged in to see alerts!
I do have a Discord. Does Itch have messaging? I can send it once I'm home.

As for animation, sound design and other roles:
