Thank you for taking the time to see so much of my game!

Sorry about the audio desync. I just mentioned in another comment but it is a known issue with the standalone versions that, despite my best efforts, I haven't been able to fix yet. As you mentioned, the best solution at the moment is to reset if it gets out of hand.
You can also play the game on an emulator. The games save file can be transferred to and from the standalone version and an emulator. The ROM files zip contains instructions on how to do this. Just ignore the first few steps on how to move your emulator save over to the standalone version in this case.
This is a known issue with the standalone versions but thank you all the same for letting me know. I've tried everything I could to help alleviate it, but it's still somewhat present. All I can suggest at the moment is to save and use the reset option in the Esc menu if it starts to get out of hand.
Moving your save file out of the standalone version and onto an emulator is also another option. The ROM files zip contains instructions on how to do this. Just ignore the first steps on how to move your emulator save to the standalone version and only read the latter steps on how to move the standalone version save over to an emulator.
I've ran some tests and tenacity does seem to be working as intended. This was the result in a full set of Dire against the 2nd boss.
Hard Mode
| Tenacity | Min Damage | Max Damage |
| 22 | 11 | 20 |
| 0 | 31 | 40 |
Normal Mode
| Tenacity | Min Damage | Max Damage |
| 22 | 9 | 16 |
| 0 | 24 | 31 |
If possible, could you provide details on your playthrough and anything you might have done to your stats. Just to rule out the possibility that you encountered an obscure bug that could have potentially led to tenacity not working.
Thank you for the lengthy review! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much! And yes! There are multiple endings.
I'm sorry that the late game areas frustrated you a little. My general thought process there was "less save points, harder late game".
Comparing my characters to those in Undertale is a massive compliment! Thank you!
Yikes! Thanks for the report. That's a pretty big bug! Could you please give a step by step on how you recreated it? I'm trying to do as you say but don't seem to be getting any duplication issues.
When you say you bought a spell and couldn't find it, was this before or after you used this item duplication bug? Also, which shop was you trying to buy Heal II from?
EDIT: Okay. I've located and fixed the item duplication issue but I haven't been able to replicate the issue of a purchased spell not showing up in the spells menu.
Thanks for the feedback! I'll look into fixing some of those issues right away.
I've had a few people report a kernel panic when loading. Did the file successfully load for you on a second attempt? Others have told me that that's been the case for them, which has made it very hard to pinpoint the cause.
Sure thing. These are two puzzles.
The door with a heart on it that says "4" requires you to find and use 4 of the 5 hearts that are scattered around the world. Once you've used at least 4, the door will open. Likewise the door next to it that says "2" only requires you to have found 2 of those hearts.
The patience door requires you to stand still and stare at it for about 10 seconds.
The slider fills your SP up. When at 100%, the slider will stop appearing during attacks. If you use a special, your SP will go back down to 0% and the slider should show once again if SP gain is set to manual. If it's set to automatic then the slider will never appear and every attack will gain 10% SP until it reaches 100% again.
I don't mind spilling the beans if you're stuck.
The cave that wants the "sound of darkness" is in Heather's Cove. Which is the village that has the Sharkade. It's close to the lower centre of the map above a small body of water.
In order to progress further you might need to defeat the 2nd boss. If looking at Heather's Cove on the map, the cave that's to the bottom right of it is where they are. You have to enter that cave from the south entrance.
Good luck!
Thanks for the review.
I have been a little bit concerned about the encounter rate. I've tweaked it many times to try and make it feel right. There is a way to permanently lower the encounter rate but it's something of a secret. I guess I could work on making that secret a little more known within the game.
I'll admit that the music is less so due to memory limitations and just more so just me getting a little overwhelmed with composing it all on top of everything else. But I agree. There could be more to it.
Tenacity doesn't increase your evasiveness but it should increase the defence provided by armour. Is it possible that an NPC gave misinformation about tenacity increasing evasiveness? I'm noticing that a few NPCs give misinformation due to them having dialogue written much earlier in development that I'd totally forgot about.
I'm glad you found a build that works for you.
Was you wearing armour while testing tenacity? Tenacity increases the defence provided by armour. If you was wearing nothing then tenacity isn't doing much. It's effects are more noticeable alongside armour with high defence. In retrospective I probably should have advertised that better. I will admit that the gold increase provided by tenacity is incredibly low and is more of a leftover effect from much earlier in development which I decided to keep in just to spice the stat up a little more.
Strength weapons do have lower accuracy. I tried to balance them out by giving them higher damage but I didn't want to go overboard because of the wind charm (which guarantee’s a hit) possibly making them too strong. There's always room for more balance tweaks though.
Thank you for playing!
You have to defeat the first boss and interact with the book behind him in order to gain the ability to push boulders. The boss is located in the southern cave in Bo Village. If you open your map, Bo Village is the 2nd closest village to the bottom left corner. You can select villages on the map to check their names. I hope this helps!
Thank you for the critique.
I'm actually a little bit curious about this. He shouldn't really be getting much of an advantage in terms of damage by having increased every damage stat. If he was using a dagger, only his agility stat would be calculated for the damage while strength and intelligence would only be for stun and heal chance per hit. Someone with the same agility but no strength or intelligence should be hitting for the same amount if holding the same dagger. Was he perhaps a higher overall level? Could it also be possible that you selected Hard Mode while he did not? You can check if you're on Hard Mode by pressing next in the status menu.
