Originally there wasn't even any animation for bosses swallowing characters, and the ones with the gray guy already costed a lot to add, it was either that, or nothing.
Especially with the different skins variants for different giants.

The card is behind the locked door.
As for how to get a key, there is two ways, one is just outside the bandit hideout to the left, and the other is earlier just before the fork to the purple and blue rooms, there is a lonely pink cube on the ground, try to interact with it.
Also it's a Casino, the Night Club only comes later Xd
I still don't know how many endings RunaMaw will have, but at the moment the plan is to only have one.
Mid fight variations based on party members is not possible, but two of the new scenes have variations based on what you do.
being Ame Yin (If you have enough money or not)
And Minty (If you fight or not.)
You're the first person to say the game is easy, most say is fine or that is grindy, I think the difficulty as a whole is fine, I do agree with the statues however, which is why I changed them in the new update to have them do a charge skill before the attack so the player can better react to them <3
A option to add party members in the gallery could bring lots of problems in the future with bugs and unintentional issues, but I will be changing the surrender option in battle to "Gallery", which will have the surrender + new options to view the fights without much issue, such as allowing the character to become invincible.
I'll have to take a look at this section to see how I could improve it, but the idea is that you have to run from the statues (Both in the overworld and in battle) until you find a certain gem in a metal chest, that gem makes dealing with the statues a piece of cake.
On the room to the north, you take a right and then go up, there will be a abandoned building in there, go inside and open the metal chest, which gives the gem and opens up the rest of the second area.
