Thank you for the clarification! I have a couple of more questions if you are down to answer them:
Do PCs usually roll when using their arcana? I know they roll for attacks and contested checks, but let’s say an arcana called “The Egg of Unlocking” is used to try and open a door in another zone, costing 1 inspiration. Would a d20 check to see if the arcana worked be appropriate? I’m not against PCs rolling for such a thing but was curious if that was your intent.
Adventuring gear can be freely obtained in safe havens, but does this apply to weapons and armor? I believe it does, but arcana cannot be obtained in this way.
