They should be better at enforcing it too, Castlevania III Revitalized has been around for years with the creator charging money for it. Feels scummy to take money for what's essentially just a remaster of a copyrighted property.

I can't say for sure, but it could just be the audio quality. I did resample all the sound effects down to 11025Hz, though theoretically I should've made it closer to like 14000 for GBA sound quality.

As a fan of both Castlevania and Silent Hill, I ADORE the aesthetic and atmosphere of this game, and I wish I had half the artistic talent of the lead developer. Granted, the gameplay doesn't fare nearly as well, but a lot of time was clearly spent realising the idea for this game and I'm driven to see it through to the end.

Edit: It seems like the developer has heard the comments about Castlevania II having the easiest Death boss fight and they've sought to correct that.

From the description, it's GameMaker, so unfortunately neither of us can help. From the little research I've done, it looks like you need to set up input map functions yourself in GameMaker or you use the raw keys in your code, it doesn't seem to have a dedicated input map in the engine like Unity and Godot.

Decided to do the same for the Wight, so there'll be more enemy variety in the first area in the next update.

Thanks for the message, I'm glad you enjoyed the demo and I hope the full game will live up to your expectations! About the blood crusader enemy, the idea was that the flag spear stuck in its back continues to function as an obstacle, but it's easier to jump over when you down the enemy. Although I know that's a bit complex for a starting enemy, so I might make another version that doesn't have the flag and include both to make it clearer.

I'm happy to say that I've since gotten more confident in photo-bashing and downscaling images for when I need to make a highly detailed image in pixel art, so I have no need for AI art in my current project.

Hey there, I'm happy you enjoyed the game! Some of the graphical issues you experienced might have been from the game using the Vulcan renderer on an older PC.
I would be curious to see if you experience the same problems in the demo for the sequel I'm working on, as I've switched over to OpenGL for rendering in that.

Is it him? 👀

You've had better at a school cafeteria?🍲

Alt+Enter isn't something that Godot has by default (Unity and Unreal do) I'll try adding it sometime this week to this and the sequel I'm working on. Edit: all done!

Felt kinda bad about using AI images to fill out the opening and ending slides so I replaced as much of it as I could with my own work back when I did the custom music, but I promise my next project is gonna be completely gen AI free. None of the art on this project page has been made by AI.

If this is on the ending slides that's my bad, you have to manually close the game window. If it's a key binding issue you can go into AppData\Roaming\Castlevania Nosferatu and delete the settings cache.
