  • Looks great, really pleased to see this come back!

    Random thoughts:

The default car has become pretty undriveable, sadly... so hard to remain on-track where I used to lord it.

The new car is GREAT, really liking it, and the glass looks really cool too.

Did I hallucinate that we used to have a handbrake option?

In ultrawide (3440 x 1440), the dust still badly obscures the car while on Finland gravel, Monty grass, etc.

And those Monty tunnels are BEGGING for reverb to be turned on!

    Thank you.

Hi Grindalf Games!

I don't know if it's still any use to you, but I wrapped the BlitzMax NG FreeJoy commands for Blitz3D to get X360/XBone controller access, including analog triggers. (DLL + .decls file.)

This link WILL likely report bad certificate, warnings, end of the world, etc -- I recommend running the zip through VirusTotal or your own virus checker, but only the DLL is executable (and comes with BlitzMax NG source), everything else is plain text.

Instructions in info.txt at:

Nope! Your screenshots in lo-res would look very different to the original still, with the distance, reflections, sky, lighting, etc.

Definitely needs low-res mode, ie. render lower-res, expand to display... interested anyway!

(Includes '1143 - Mesh Clipping Demo.bb', likely the clipping code mentioned above.)

Just stumbled across this thread, but this is a copy of the blitzbasic.com Code Archives I made, last updated 19 July 2015:

Fantastic news! Didn't expect you'd be back to public game tools ever again, and it was such a great loss. We need this way of working! Not really touched anything since Monkey2.

Thanks for the update!
