For some characters, it’s not just the number of the hearts but also what you have experienced with them. It will all make sense when the full main story is released, so I can only ask you to be patient.

Have you logged into your account through the embedded browser inside itch client? The client has a web browser inside the app that requires you to log in separately from the client app itself. The patreon only version of Kemo Coliseum page is set to be visible to supporters or those who own the game only.

Teardrop right now is a random drop with 25% chance from a Knife Juggler on the Slave Auction Island.
We recognize that this is an issue right now but due to the time-constraint, we had to sacrifice balancing in order to spend time on finishing the whole game first. All this will be fine tuned after the game is done.
The unique on the Slave Auction Island will also appear somewhere else later, so that you still be able to get items from them after you cleared the dungeon.

I thought it was clear as I wrote an announcement stating the reason already, but I suppose it was limited to Patreon only so some might not understand, as I thought it was only relevant to supporters. I should make it public now so it’ll be clearer.
I’m confused because the game being datamined and shared outside of supporters didn’t stop monthly reports. The announcement about no more monthly report was posted in March this year.
The leak, however, affected our decision to release a new build (but the builds have never been released monthly and we made clear of that even on the Patreon page.) We didn’t want to release anything with unfinished assets or having to worry about people datamining the game and leaking something that could spoil anything beyond Chapter 7, so we said that any new build, if there would be one, would be something that’s polished or at least contain only things that we won’t feel bad if it’s seen by non-supporters.
Having to clean up the builds, making sure that there’s nothing for dataminers to find, costs us extra time and labour when we’re already a small group with limited resources. And I’m sure that people would be happier with a finished game.

I’m not sure what you meant by monthly updates in the first two paragraphs, but we are not against people streaming patreon content. The guideline written in 2020 can be found here here.
All the updates are also available publicly after 90 days just like the reports, so there is no need to support if you don’t feel like it. We want you to support the game because you like it, want to see it succeed, and are in a position where you can afford to do so.

I should explain this somewhere in the game, but attacking an enemy with Wind element damage while friendly [Rock] gems on the board will also randomly move some friendly [Rock] gems to a matchable position.
You can use this to either take advantage of matching those gems yourself, or force the opponent to make a match or avoid making that match.

If you want to play on Steam Deck, this is already possible by installing the windows version of itch client through Game Mode, add the client executable file to Steam game list, then launch the client executable file through Game Mode. Then, you can install any game through itch and play it on Steam Deck, including Kemo Coliseum. The game also supports Steam Deck controller input (although there’s still some hiccups we need to iron out in the future).

I’m not sure I quite understand. If you’re talking about NPC graphics, we might add more colors or add new graphics if we have time & resources, but that’s not our priority right now.
There are many dialogues already in the Patreon version. Many have their own little story arcs going on, and some unlock something or give you items.
