This immediately has that roguelike juice, despite the core gameplay being relatively simple, the simplicity is exactly what makes it cool and expandable, though I'm not good with math, that I just kinda try my divides immediately lol

this jam has shown me mathrogues are a thing and they could be a pretty big new hit potentially, this one definitely!

Aah Archron dev! Will never stop glazing Archron lmao

Very glad to hear that! and thank you for playing, it was our composer's first jam and they nailed the music incredibly

thanks for playing!

and thanks for the feedback, that's very fair, already thinking of doing like shorter timers, but accessibility settings to make timers longer in case of another iteration or spiritual successor

Right? Our composer did amazing,

super happy to hear it might be your favorite, thank you for playing!

thanks! and agreed, planning on doing something like that with a future iteration, and taking the GMTK "invisible choices" video as inspiration

awesome! glad you liked the style!

Thank you! Yeah, Planning in a possible future iteration or spiritual successor a way to tie the minigames even more directly to the story!

hey, thanks!

The cardboard style art is so charming, and the mechanics are actually pretty in depth, especially for a game made in ~4 days! Always like an RPG with unique battle mechanics

I CAN SEE WHY PEOPLE WERE HYPING THIS GAME! That's so creative, I can't say much for spoilers, but all I can tell you is that, it's an unfolding game, try it!

ohhhh my gosh, I just saw that the title also spells something smh lmao

[SPOILERS]

I got kinda stuck on a refresh lmao That was while the bullet was traveling across the long red line toward the red circle, I refreshed

it's like decoding and deducing at the same time! this was pretty fun

and of course very cute artwork!

creative interpretation of the theme! And I liked that it was a platformer and a tower defense ish in one!

that was a pretty cool escape room! The intro was a bit long, but that's alright

The gameplay itself was cool, sfx made it satisfying, and I really like the stylized but simple art!

Yoooo this game got JUICE! I really like the shooting and the art is awesome, the game feel also works great, I like being able to dash almost infinitely

One button games are so fun! Also pretty hard with how you eventually have to rely on your own head's countdown to run down the clock. Cool stuff

quite difficult, but cool!

I found the sequences too long, and/or the punishment for missing a beat or arrow (losing your attack) too harsh, or maybe all four arrows right at the start+press n hold mechanics was overwhelming for me

still, the concept is cool, skill based turn based is always a fun way to shake up turn based combat, and I think if you continue this and get some music and OST, that would really tie this together!

glad you liked the style and the characters! Thank you for playing!

the sounds are very satisfying, typing feels great, the art being sleek is cool, and the actual gameplay is rewarding when you manage to get everyone saved

I also really really like the time travel implications near the end, and it being potentially about Y2K being averted, that's awesome

thanks for the feedback! Very glad for that intro too, it turned out as close to what I envisioned in my head as possible. I'm also glad you liked the 3 nades the frantic but cool pin pulling sequence is what we were going for

I do agree with the timer, potentially lower time, with accessibility settings to increase the timer for less difficulty... hmm, maybe in a spiritual successor? :D

Thanks! and definitely, got a lot of ideas, but mostly involves at least more moving gun parts, like giving that pistol part a rackable slide

Thanks so much! Glad you liked it. I definitely think the tactile assembly under pressure gameplay is worth some kinda expansion, and I do have plans to. Maybe a spiritual successor? :O

I diiid it. Very cool concept and game, very fun when things sync perfectly. The audio especially was incredibly tactile and satisfying!!

thanks again! and thanks for sharing the art on stream!

thank you! Pretty much this is what I was feeling while on my ~6th try lol

it was definitely hard! but the premise kept me hooked mostly because I really love mechs, and cosmic-scale action so it made me feel like I was in Gurren Lagann lol

thats quite high praise! thank you very much

I hope you dont mind, but I drew you guys fanart, because I loved your game so much lmao

YOU'RE DROPPING ME RIGHT IN THE MIDPOINT/FINALE OF A SUPER ROBOT ANIME?!

I've died twice so far, but I'm gonna annihilate you, ABRAXAS

YOU AINT BEATING ME

EDIT: YOU GOT NOTHING ON DETERMINATION, ABRAXAS. WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM

I won my timeline, now beat them in EVERY SINGLE other one!

The game itself though, it was tense, it was awesome the feel of fighting a deity in a small but powerful mech, and really satisfying to pull off. 1 second guarding is the best use of defend even if it's not quite a parry

Having the system be pseudo-turn based really added to the tension too

I also love mechs and cosmic-scale battles or stories, so this just hit different for me in particular lmao

That was very cool and unique,

Short and fun, I almost did run out of time, but chilling and not panicking helps decoding it lol

thank you! glad you had fun

Thank you very much

yeah definitely, in a longer version, I can envision the story directly tying to the assembling gameplay, and giving you different outcomes

Fun platformer, I do like that only the hour hand has platform colliders, and the clock mechanic in general is cool

got the hang of it eventually, that super precise controlled boosts is where it's at. It was pretty fun!

the pain of getting so so close lmao

Really fun and frantic, my Papers Please strategy of speeding through the first shift and stacking time/money did not work out lmao

So charming, so cute, the best thing is the adorable artwork

the 6pack minigame is also really funny lmao

Man, just the intro was already priming me to feel things

SPOILERS

math kid storyline got me to tear up ahahaaaaaa oof, especially the math kid->grandma story connection

although the ending was a bit abrupt.

I love the "May Happiness be with you" because from the outside, it looks like either a corporate tagline, or a cult's mantra, BUT in this game, I think it's said with the utmost sincerity.

That was a good play. I'm gonna run it back and help the lover

An Uno Balatro with a countdown theme, I just played it for a bit right now, but man oh man, this is going into my bookmarks because I love roguelikes, and this already has that synergy

also AEZIO is such a fun and creative title, it was really cool seeing the namesake perk in the shop and realizing what it meant lmao

(1 edit)

this is insanely creative, a really cool take on the theme

And that leaderboard is really conducive to a jam game, and I really hope this gets more popular because the more people play this, the more awesome that leaderboard will be just some 99k's super lucky people

also apparently one of the people on my team played this and got #1 LOL

cursed screenshot. I think the true countdown is how unlucky you can get as to crash the webpage right on Zone 6 lol

glad you liked it! thanks for playing!

Amy is indeed speaking like all us jam devs during jam time lmao

thanks again for playing!
