Thanks! You’re not the only one to point that out, and I completely agree. It would have been a relatively easy addition that would have made the game so much better.

Thank you so much for playing the game and actually beating it! I really appreciate it! Due to the random nature of the game, some runs are unluckier than others. I wish I could have implemented some sort of pity system, but I just didn’t have the time.

Thanks, rated!

Wonderful execution, really good job! The obvious highlight is the art style, but the controls feel nice and tactile as well. The game is pretty challenging and quite overwhelming at first, though I think the explanations provided in the game and on the game page are sufficient. Maybe just slow the customers down a bit at the beginning? But overall, amazing job! I wouldn’t be surprised if this game won!

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you had fun, and thanks for the feedback about the rules! Just to clarify, failing doesn't skip a wave. The waves always progress from 1 boat to 2 boats, then 3, and so on.

Thank you very much!

Thank you very much for your feedback! I really appreciate it. I’ll keep your point in mind for the future. Thanks again!

Thank you very much! That was one of my inspirations.

Probably my favourite entry of the jam! I really enjoyed the tactile feeling of plugging in the cords. My only issue is that the numbers are really small and can be hard to read for people with visual impairments. But overall, awesome job!

Thanks, done!

Awesome level design! My only recommendation would be to make the frog jump continuously while you hold down the button. But great job overall, and good luck on your game dev journey!

Lovely art style, probably the best I've seen so far! Good job!

I absolutely loved the pixel art and the "nom" sound effect! It's a very cute game that's a lot of fun and, in my opinion, very unique. Awesome job!

Cool idea that could definitely be polished into something awesome! I love the art style! The wheel felt a bit weird at times, but it worked, and it's a genuinely unique take on the theme. Good job!

Thank you very much!

Thank you very much for the detailed feedback! Due to the random nature of the game, sometimes all the ships pass through or none of them do. The rules are random as well, and some are harder to meet than others. If I had more time, I would have introduced a system to track this and deliberately spawn the right ship after too many incorrect ones.

Thank you very much for the detailed feedback! I noticed that issue as well, but I wasn’t sure how to address it, so I recommend playing the desktop version. Thank you for suggesting a fix as well! I’ll give it a try!

Thank you very much for your feedback! It seems the difficulty is a bit overtuned. I’ll keep that in mind for the future!

Done! Here is mine:  /jam/godot-wild-jam-98/rate/5156609

Insanely polished platform with satisfying game mechanics! Amazing work for such a short time!

What a unique game idea and interpretation of the theme! It works really well! The gameplay loop is fun. I’d love to see other ways of differentiating the different houses beyond color alone, to make the game more accessible for color-blind players. But overall, good job!

Thank you very much for the detailed feedback! I really appreciate it! I originally had ideas for other mechanics, but I scrapped them due to time constraints. I might add more later, though.

Thank you very much for the detailed feedback! That’s a great point. It would have been much better if the player could see what they got wrong. I’ll keep that in mind for the future. Thanks again!

Thanks!

Thanks, I appreciate it!

Thanks, I appreciate it!

Nice little puzzle game! The blend of frog wildcards and the signal theme works well here. The graphics and audio are simple, but they get the job done. Good job!

My favourite entry so far! I absolutely love the art style; it feels so unique and atmospheric. The game can be challenging, but I think that’s part of the experience. Amazing job, well done!

Cool game with a very addictive gameplay loop! The visuals are simple, but they work well and fit the game. I would advise adding a colorblind mode, as the correct signal depends solely on color. Adding a ship icon to the signal instead of hertz would solve this issue. The particles were nice and satisfying, and they helped the game feel more polished. Overall, good job! I got 3:59, 6850

Nice little game with a peak game title. Good job!

Unusual yet quite fun entry! The aesthetics are really good. I liked the splash screen animations and color palette. The sprites are simple and hand-drawn, yet charming in their own way. The game can be a little confusing at times, but overall, good job!

I’d love to discover some of the other games made for the jam! Drop your game below and I’ll give it a play and leave a rating. If you have a moment, I’d be grateful if you could do the same for mine.

Hi, thank you for the opportunity! I've played and rated your game, and I'd really appreciate it if you could do the same for mine: https://edensoft.itch.io/seagnal

Nice little game! The audio is great, and so are the sprites. My only small suggestion would be to add a black outline to the frog's legs as well, but that's just a nitpick. It's a nice interpretation of the theme and the wildcards. However, the game can sometimes feel a bit too easy, as you can spawn pretty close to the shore. Overall, good job!

Thank you very much for your detailed feedback. I really appreciate it!
