A wonderful adventure! I loved the cut-ins for Konig's hand motions, the daytime stuff was really well done, like it was merry but you could tell there was something dark brewing further on, well foreshadowed. The way the story unfolds was really fun, and holy moly what did we do to Boyhowdy with that finger point lmao! As a GB Studio user myself I gotta say, all the thumbs up, awesome work!

Holy moly, incredibly creepy vibes! The usage of lighting was excellent, not just to for painting the spooky atmosphere but also how the lamps help guide the player. Each text log just got me more invested into pushing further to see what happened to the people who came before: am I understanding right that the captain of Expedition Alpha got turned into Marygold, and the other captain became Yazmody?
Perfectly nailed the feeling of a derelict space station that feels haunted, from the moment I picked up that first keycard I felt trepidation deep in my bones. The ending, perfectly haunting how it happens right as you're trying to grasp what you're looking at. The movement of the ship is great, it reminds me of the old school Descent PC game, especially how you could move above top speed by strafing and rising/lowering the ship at the same time. Really loved my time with this one, this will stick with me for a while purely for those spooky vibes ~
Great writing and dialogue, it was interesting to learn just how Yazmody became the people's choice, and then his dark origins. The artwork is top notch, the way you slowly unveiled more layers of Yazmody was truly unsettling. Great music that fit the vibes perfectly, now if you'll excuse me I have a Yazmody to vote for ~
Love the art style and animations, the characters express themselves very well! I really like how Arturo moves around~ The battle mechanics were pretty good, only thing is often I found the speech bubbles getting in the way, I had to constantly strafe around to see the attacks coming, maybe a screen resolution problem on my end? First time I tried to press escape to see if there was any display options and exited out of the game lol. Replayed and it was satisfying seeing Alexandria's final attack, great stuff!
What an RPG adventure! It's very cool you got all the Warriors as playable characters, the timer based objective was the right amount of tension without being too stressful. Excellent sprite work, nice vibes to the music and fun sound effects. Had a lot of fun exploring, trading with some of the locals, and I loved the way you integrated Boyhowdy and DSD into this story. Freedom!!
Yoooo, tank controls HYPE, and it's the two inputs style like Virtual On YES. Very cool game design, I like how the different challenge shots were laid out in the first area, and then the way the story pivots to freeing the souls (I hope I was freeing the souls? Had to think afterwards was I just sending them into the void lol...)
The touching translucent gold bit was very funny, I spent a little while trying to complete one of the challenge shots in that camera angle before finally hitting the heart thing to reset the camera. Also liked how in the last area when you free a couple of souls you get a golden colour filter on the screen, for some reason it felt a bit Okami-esque and made me audibly "wow!". Had an awesome time with this one, lovely art style too!
Very cool art style, the presentation here was top notch! Very cool puzzle mechanics, really liked how Warriors of Encouragevar lived up to their namesake.
Not sure if I broke the game the first time through? I accepted Boyhowdy's recommendation at the start, and only recruited Arturo and Yazmody, then when mashing my way through the battle and completely belly laughing at the Wrath of Bowhowdy, halfway through the second go Zingledinger chimed in about thanking me for destroying translucent gold and then I won?
I played it a second time declining Boyhowdy (holy moly that's a scary looking puffin lmao), this time I did the rest of the puzzles, recruited everyone, shattered Zingledinger's dreams of touching the translucent gold. He didn't chime in for the battle this time, I had to fully deplete both lifebars to win.
In any case, very fun writing that had me laughing a lot, great puzzles using the various mechanics (I actually completely forgot about the lasso first time through, it was very valuable for the later puzzles). Super fun game!
Fun platformer! There's something devilishly fun about having Seraph fall just a little too far so they trigger the hard landing animation. Having Seraph cushion their fall with their head was really funny! Really cool going further and seeing the new environments, I loved how you'd find Boyhowdy in new areas. I finished the game with 8 teeth, I need to go back and try to find more!
One weird thingy, when I first tried the look down mechanic, I think I somehow made Seraph fall into the ground. I thought the camera was locked looking down but then I realised I was exploring inside the ground and found a teeth.
Really enjoyed the 3D platforming, smashing things and collecting things are always enjoyable activities in a game and are combined to great effect here. Getting the new powerups was cool, once I got the last one I had to get all the ore fragments even if they fell all the way back down that area lol.
The outdoor environment was a particular highlight for me - seeing the rings off in the fog was both serene yet eerie in a way, and I love in the end when there are ore chunks just spinning off into the air. I had one fly right at me and tried to vacuum it up, alas I missed XD
Neat take on the strategy genre, I liked how the warriors know to push ahead by themselves so that if your army falls, you can just meet the new warriors as they are on the way and then group them all up with the horn. So satisfying on the last stretch where you can blitz down the last towers and final boss with a big army. Great work!
Holy moly that was crazy fun, from the very start I was laughing and it didn't stop until the end. Really loved the different events, seeing the Hole in the Wall game from Super Trio Game Master 超級遊戲獎門人 was such a treat as that's a game show I always watched with my parents. The way you had to manipulate the puppet for each level was very inventive and fun, and the music was a nonstop bop. Wonderfully delightful art, amazing scenario design, really fun story, this is the GTA6 I was waiting for!!
Wonderful game, the mystery of the lighthouse made me hungry to ascend it while also trying my best to save the lost souls. I liked you really had to consider how to tackle the enemies, not just to efficiently get rid of them quickly but also to avoid crossfire into the lost souls.
Great writing, very beautiful sprite work, the music was constant toe tappers into headbangers, and the endings were fantastic, love those plot twists! Outstanding work team Alpha Crush, this game has all the makings of something that could be expanded on into a much more ambitious project that I'd gladly pay money for.
Super fun puzzler! It gave me slight CrossCode vibes with the way you have to consider how Konig's star would travel. The puzzle rooms are very well designed and it was a great process of learning how to use the star to travel and hit switches that at first looked impossible to do. I managed to get out with 5 treasures, once I have more time I want to revisit this game and try to 100% it. Very cute graphics, good music that kept the puzzling whimsical and joyous, just excellent work. I really enjoyed first seeing Boyhowdy and just dropping him into the pit maliciously before restarting the run, heehee ~
Really neat tactics game, I like how the Skremplet order can affect the others in the party, enjoyed managing that. The tug of war system is pretty cool, I liked collecting the cards to buff each party. It was cool that on Grymmt's island the trash collecting changes to racing Grymmt to collect the most apples. Cute sprites, and I love every time Giant Foozloo would tell Boyhowdy to shoo lol
Great gameplay! I love how everything you can do you in the game, you already have but just need the knowledge, very into that kind of game design. Some fiendishly tough rooms to tackle for the optional content, and very satisfying accomplishing the motions to complete it. I felt so bad about Boyhowdy lol.
Very imaginative and fun puzzles! I like how each Skremplet has different art styles for their dreams, and the way objects interact between dreams was so fun to play with. Really good pacing for a short Metroidvania-esque game, the music set the vibes perfectly each dream. Loved the scare of going into Giant Foozloo's dream for the first time!
Always interesting trying to solve these games. I love the walk cycle of the Skremplet we control, and the Giant Foozloo looks so cool. I managed to find Zugtug, and some trash around, maybe they need to go into the numbered holes in a certain order? AFB your games are so fascinating, and Blep's music is the perfect companion to exploring and trying to figure out these mysteries.
Had an absolute blast with this one! I love how things escalate so quickly, it really gets you into the mood for chaos right away. The voice acting and writing made me laugh the whole time, really funny scenarios and my fav unaddressed elephant. I played twice because first time I broke things too quickly and missed the paths that went up, glad I did because I somehow also missed the car scene in the street ~
Really enjoy your take on the Game Jam characters each time, it's nice to hear the music and voice acting as they're really good. I absolutely love Boyhowdy's lines, like a board game based on a kid's show come to life. I read through the rulebook and the gameplay looks pretty interesting, also chuckled at the unaddressed elephant XD
Really love the way you do PS1 style games, the CRT filter feels so authentic. A platformer with an air dash is one of my fav genres, getting to zip around felt really liberating with the level layouts. The effect to let you know when a Skremplet is around was very cool, and I enjoyed the story a lot, especially Gretchen's part about saving the planet lol. The music perfectly complimented the vibes, stellar game!
Interesting narrative with a fun twist, I never thought my graphics card would become part of a video game like that lol. The characterisations were so fun, I was routing for Pastoriche the whole time and the end really hit me. It was fun exploring beyond the tents and seeing the edges of the world, and that perspective shift really wow'd me. Loved how the final bossfight worked; a very creative project so many neat games, incredible you got that many done!
Heck yeah, actual tank controls! Reminds me of playing Virtual On in the arcades ~ I really like how the movement felt, the pace of enemy spawns felt really good for keeping up the tension. Took a few goes to get used to the flow of where to go and when to use the AoE; I rarely used the shooting in the end unless there was a purple enemy right in my way, felt really cool to just drift around my enemies and AoE at the last second if things looked rough. Super fun game!
Very clever and well executed concept! The presentation and music perfectly nails a Dreamcast vibe, and the characters designs are so fun. I liked how the lore makes you wonder about what the previous section and cutscenes could have been about, felt like stumbling on to a forgotten RPG of the era on someone's save data. Combat system was pretty cool too!
Everything, from the artwork and music, to the writing and gameplay, incredibly polished work that I thoroughly enjoyed. I liked how varied and challenging all the minigames were, finding DSD was really funny, and the references throughout had me grinning ear to ear. The presentation and multiple minigames reminded me of some 90s edutainment games which felt very fitting ~
Lemme put this in the waste_ NOOOOO lmfao. Clever design throughout, how the waste message is presented, and how dupe cards are used. The card art is incredible, some of the alts go so hard. My fav thing is just spinning cards before clicking them away, something really satisfying just seeing a card spin off like that.
Cool game, the lore and music gives the whole world a mysterious vibe and I love how the broken sky skybox looks. I like how the solar game board is used to arrange the Skremplets, and the way Skremplets are used are interesting as I didn't pick up the shooting one until last, so most of my battles were using the DoT field which made the confrontations feels quite unique. The name reveal of the big boss you could see the whole game was fun, had a great time with this one.
Really fun adventure! I like all the little touches like the screen shake inside the bus, or when you highlight DSD's sweater. Really liked the Skremplet designs and animations, together with the writing and music it feels like playing a 90's cartoon game, like the Nickelodeon ones, you nailed it at making the Skremplets feel really alive as characters. Always interesting seeing the differences in our GB Studio projects, I love the mix of platformer and point-and-click style in your games!
I thoroughly enjoyed spamming my spin emotes in chat when I first saw Kyle play this game! Now I've had a go myself, the chaotic nature of the battles is really fun; it reminds me of the feeling of playing the Pocket Car Racer minigames in the Yakuza series. The artwork and voice acting are absolutely stellar, and the "overworld" music gave me kinda Chrono Trigger vibes. Great final act, holy moly that image of Boyhowdy will stick with me! Really enjoyed my time with this one!
As someone who has never Farkled or Yahtzeed, all I can say is I had way too much fun lol. The mix of real world elements and stuff like the Pastoriche graffiti or mountains of trash bags evoked a lot of feelings of 90s adventure gaming which I appreciate a lot. The FMVs were too funny, I love the design of Orchk so much, and the depiction of Boyhowdy had me cracking up. The deck builder element was a great surprise, I went heavy hit for most of the game and it felt so satisfying getting the right dice.
