Thanks for playing and for the feedback! The team and I were definitely debating whether the player can click on the bomb the moment the bombs comes out, but we decided not to due to the "Charge Bomb" and "Decoy Bomb". However, reducing the delay of when the bomb is clickable and speeding up the launch animation time will definitely be on the list of hotfixes. Thanks again for the feedback and playing!

Woah, this game has great visuals, audio, and polish as a whole! This game also made me realize I probably CANNOT invest, as I may be a "go big or go home" type of guy 👀. Was still enjoyable to see all my retirement money go down the drain!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! Dynamic music would have definitely been a nice touch to the overall feel of the game.

Probably one of the best soundtracks from all of the games jams so far! I LOVE when environment objects are destructible, and it was so fun to just destroying doors and objects. My only gripe is that I wish more objects were destroyable and dashing through the door didn't stop you. Other than that, great game!

Thanks for the feedback and for playing! We probably should've toned Level 5's difficulty a bit, but since it was the last level, we thought it would be fitting to make it challenging. The team and I are glad you still enjoyed it!

Thanks for playing! Unfortunately, there's no planned new content, but The BOOM ROOM will fs have a some hotfixes after the game jam ends and before GTA VI comes out; somewhere in between 😎.

The opening sequence is amazing! I was really hoping for an ending sequence as well. I found it really interesting that for the gameplay, you went for a 3D approach; it was finicky at times with the collision and pathfinding, but I was still able to maneuver the humans to feed the Count. I would love to see more in-game sequences that further develop the story. Good game!

Cool game! Reminds me a lot of Buckshot Roulette but with more skill involved. I was confused on how some of the items worked, but I do love the amount of variation each item has.

Cool incremental game! Kinda silly to get pop ups that I gained $10 when I'm racking millions 😂. Did run into a few issues like persistent "placedown" particles and floating buildings, but was still an enjoyable experience to leave on the side of my second monitor. Good game!

The gameplay is honestly a really good idea that I don't see many games do. I think this can be a great roguelike game if executed properly. A lot of "risk" in roguelikes are choosing the right paths or items, but this one is MAKING the right path, which is so cool to think about. I really believe you should continue on expanding this game because I would love to see what could come about from this. Good game and amazing concept!

The voice acting really took me in for a surprise and made me pretty immersed at the start. The art style and gameplay screams metroidmania, and I would've loved to see more of a reason to explore more of the map! Besides that, I wish that the W key was also an alternative jump button. Good game nonetheless!

I honestly thought that for some reason I was assembling the bomb to "defuse" the bomb, so I played the game twice only to realize "wait, it's called Bomb REPAIR Man" 🤦. Love the different items in the game, but I do wish there was more depth involved when crafting the bomb. I enjoyed this game a lot! Great game!

I love playing as a bladesinger in D&D and spellcasters using melee weapons is so cool imo. There were a few bugs here and I wish there was UI to show what spells were on cooldown, but it was still a fun experience nonetheless. Good game!

The opening sequence is so cool! Lots of content for a 4-day game jam; this one really surprised me. I wasn't able to figure out how to shoo the bats away, but I did remember Luigi's Mansion for getting the ghosts 😎. This game did have me stressin' though cause I'm so used to non-timered cleaning games like Viscera Cleanup and House Flipper, but it was still fun! Awesome game!

The visuals for this game is great! I love how you gave a lot of the enemies "tells" for when they were going to spawn, shoot, explode, etc.. Reminds me a lot of Brotato but only dodging. Nice game!

I do love me some gambling 😈. I like the premise of a blackjack game with two different decks where one of them are like consumable power-ups. One thing I wish the game had is that I love playing fast in card games like Balatro and Slay the Spire, so I wish there was a setting for making the dealing and card revealing a lot faster. Good game!

What a cute and cozy game. Love the art-style and aesthetic y'all were going for. I do wish the platforming was a bit easier by having something like coyote time and a jump queue, but great game nonetheless!

I hope the professor doesn't realize that all the students got hacked instead of me 👀. I was a bit confused about some of the later minigames, but it eventually clicked. Super cool on how you made draggable and pop-up windows, but I instead would have loved to see more fleshed out minigames! Good game!

Super cool concept! Kinda reminds me of the "Don't Escape" flash games, but instead of puzzle it's a maze-action game. I found it interesting that you can kill humans intentionally to use holy water to get your bar lower 🤔. Not sure if that's ethical but funny nonetheless 😂.

I never thought about the combination between a clicker game and a puzzle game. I feel like you can create a really great concept with this game if you expand more on it!

Interesting concept. Do wish you expanded more on this game

The bouncing sound effect is really satisfying. I love the art too and how the section lights up after collecting the spark. I do wish that there was a bit more of a clear indicator when my spark is about to fade out. Nonetheless, good game!

The art is so cute! I keep having to remind myself that just because I beat Celeste and some of its B-sides doesn't mean I am good at all platformers. I love the player freedom you get on how open the game is where I could decide where go. I also like the leniency of how the fox sprite could barely touch the spikes, but I did feel like some of the jumps required me to that, which made me lose some immersion. Other than that, great platformer game!

Generative AI assets is a VERY sensitive topic in the gaming industry and I HIGHLY suggest to stray away from it, even if it's allowed on Itch or other platforms; Clair Obscur was stripped from their GOTY award for using placeholder background newspaper Gen AI art that got patched 1 week from release, so it's definitely a touchy subject.

I know you meant no harm in using it (even if you were aware or unaware), and I would love to see your next works without AI! Game development is a learning process, so don't get discouraged about this and continue to games!

P.S. if your older works do have AI assets, I would suggest removing them as well. If ever you're skeptical or unsure, you can always turn to the community (i.e. Itch community, Game Jam Discords, art friends) to check on it! I'm sure there are tons of people out there who are willing to help

That's tough to hear. For aspiring game devs like us who participate in game jams for fun, I usually give them the benefit of the doubt about whether an asset is generative AI or not, cause there's usually BIG negative feedback for such little gain when you're caught using it.

I had to rack my brain for this one 😵‍💫. I love the artstyle and atmosphere of the game with the music. The opening sequence was a nice touch and got me into the story as well, so the twist ending was pretty shocking. Unfortunately, Itch.io doesn't support spoiler tag in the comments for some reason, so hopefully no one reads this comment before trying out the game. This game is awesome so try it out first!

PUZZLE SPOILERS AHEAD

The puzzle were a bit obscure and would loved if there was some way to show what was "partially" right. I thought the S was a 5 so I got stuck for a few minutes trying to rack my head what the code was. I also wasn't expecting the code puzzle to be case sensitive, so I left the code at the end thinking it was finished, but that was just me not reading that "Enter" was part of the controls.

Nonetheless, great jam game!

I can see the concept of exploring the different islands and seeing all the cool structures and items. For a 3-day game jams and game jams in general, I always think it's best to think about finishing the game at least a day before, which means to always scope smaller than you intend! You have a knack for game ideas; I would love to see further development on this game and your future games as well!

The satisfaction of seeing the gunpowder all light up like dominoes is awesome. I love the effect of the firework going up and exploding; a very nice touch 👌. In level 1-2, I was getting stuck sometimes with the rocks, but other than that, great game!

Factorio meets BTD6. It reminds me a lot of Mindustry and itches the "factory must grow" brain. I wasn't able to beat the Boss Fight level, as I was not able to keep up with all the different mechanics while the enemies are flowing through (i.e. collecting scraps, dodging rocks, thinking about the wiring layout). I would have loved if I can send out the waves myself so that I can create a machine with multiple sparks merging into one mega tower. Nonetheless, great 3 day game!

I am such a FNAF enjoyer, but I do not like playing FNAF-like games cause I'm too scared👀. Nevertheless, I did play for a bit and was just on edge whether a giant spider would jump at my face. The sound effects and visuals really added to the atmosphere, and I would have loved to also see some lighting effects to really sell it. I like the addition of having the visual volume bar, but I do feel like it takes away a little bit of the immersion, as I solely focused on the visual cue to zap. Great game!

Very cozy ☕. The sfx and music really adds a lot to the to cozy vibes I get from moving the puzzle pieces around. I went through it a second time and love how the system is dynamic such that the player can make their own solution. A lot of puzzle games have only one very specific solution, which makes certain games sometimes feel very linear. This one doesn't and really adds to the overall enjoyment for when I was playing it. Great game!

Cool game! The cover art is honestly fantastic, and I do like the idea of your spell being like a spark, where it interacts with the environment (i.e. spark a light/fire, spark a button). I do wish the controls were a bit more user-friendly, where it could be WASD for the movement since E is the "Cast Spell", and also if there was an alternate jump button like Up Arrow or the W key. Honestly, great game for a 3-day game jam!

Such a cute game! Every scene looked really polished and didn't take me out of the experience. Gameplay wise, it wasn't really my type of game, as it felt to me that the player-control of changing the probabilities didn't feel like I had much of an impact. However, I can see this game expanded to more methodical decisions. Love the art style and sound design though! Two thumbs up! 👍👍

There does seem to be a lot of bugs, but the art direction for the intro is great! I love the music transition too for how it goes from piano to rock.

Play this game made me realize I can not be a cook. Jokes aside, love the visuals and sound design. I played game for 15 minutes but still couldn't toss the food high enough for me to consistently land it on my plate (honestly just a skill issue on my part), but even if I sucked, it was still pretty addicting trying to get at least semi-decent at this game. Would love to see a short video or gif showing how to toss the food like a pro. Great game!

Amazing first game jam! The concept of this is an amazing twist to potion crafting and puzzle games. I also got a good chuckle when I heard the "Anime Wow" sound effect. During the first few minutes of the game, I was a bit confused as I was trying to deduce the ingredients more based on the flavor-text description rather than the spell name, which really threw me off. But after I realized that, I understood it a bit more (though I still suck at word deduction even though English is my first language). I wasn't able to get to the end, but I would love to see the thought-process behind why it's that recipe! Great first game!

Very interesting concept! The visuals reminds me of those "simulator games" (if you didn't make the 3d models, make sure to credit them in the itch description!). I like the balance of trying to maximize profit by trying to have 1 of the 8 targets to have no paintballs, and making sure to keep your "Sus Meter" low. One critique I have is that a lot of the audio is on the right ear, so I had to use my speakers instead of my headphone to play it.

I someone who loves roguelike games, this one is one of those. I also had the problem with the game running way too fast so I instantly die without reacting (i think someone in the comments also mentioned about framerate), but honestly, it might also just a skill issue for me. Probably also because the game was running really fast, I really enjoyed the fast pace rounds. Really enjoyed it!

This game showed me that I cannot be a politician. Love the visuals and how you spun the word "spin". I wish there was a bit of feedback onto why the rating went up or down so I can learn how to speak like a true pawlitician. I can see this game being very interesting with different ratings of parties and species/breeds. Overall, nice work!
