I like the art and the concept. Although the controls feel a bit confusing.

Funny idea :P

I like the idea of having to switch between attacking and charging the middle. But the game does feel a bit overwhelming. Nonetheless, great job!

I like the little idle animation.

It's supposed to represent a sort of laser, which you have to charge to win the game ( as it is the spot where you have to bring the energy dropped from the enemies)

Also, maybe post a link somewhere to your game on the pico 8 forum? (as if i understand it correctly, that's the best way to play pico 8 games)

I realy like in the start menu all the visuals! But i found the instruction rather confusing to understand in regards for what to do. In my opinion,  as a protoype for your game idea it works quit nicely

I like the player characters animation and the idea, it feels like a good proof of concept! Only the boxes are a bit slippery.

Sorry, that was a renemant of the playtest, it should now be playable without the password.

I like the idea, but it seems a bit unbalanced that the power_up are so cheap though. But with a bit balancing it seems like a cool thing to decide in a few seconds.

fun little rage game, have you heard of jump buffering?

Yes, the fact that theres no real loose condition was the main thing i could not figure out how to fix while also incentivicing the player to still go lower. The idea with the timer is a good point (crazy that i didn't think of that during the jam myself), and also maybe a min score to reach in that time, maybe even rougelikeish, but we'll see how far i'll take this project. Anyway, thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, the wario ware games were the main inspiration behind this. The horizontal background idea is a good point, i'll have to see how it looks, thanks you!

Yes, the dash is a little... problematic. But i know what bug you mean and i already know what the problem is so I'm working on fixing that and the dash as a whole. The camera is also something I'm currently trying to find a solution to. I actually just recently watched that GMTK video on 2D Cameras. I'll also try to add an options menu for the music and such. And I'll see that i work on my jump a little, so thanks for the tutorial, and thanks a lot for the feedback and playing my game! And i have to say, i found your game very funny
