Hello!

We have read the Getting Indexed documentation and still have a question regarding our project's indexing status.

Our game, COLISEUM, was successfully indexed and appeared normally in Search/Browse. About two days later, we made a small update to the project page to add a “RATE US” button linking to the game's rating page.

After the update, the project disappeared from Search/Browse/Discovery again. Some players have also reported seeing a quarantine warning when attempting to download the game.

The project remains publicly accessible through its direct link:
https://hysteria-studio.itch.io/coliseum

We have already contacted support regarding this issue.
Support ticket: #398053

Could a moderator please let the support/admin team know about our ticket when possible?

Thank you very much for your help.

Thank you so much for letting us know — thanks to you, we noticed it ourselves! O_O

We updated the page about an hour ago to add the “RATE US” button, so it’s most likely some kind of issue on the platform’s side. We’ll do our best to get everything fixed as soon as possible :(

Thank you for your comment!

We actually work with a human artist who creates all our art from scratch. You can check out our art process videos on TikTok to see how it's made. We put a lot of love into this project 🖤

Thank you! 🖤

Our artist is happy to know that you appreciated her work! Unfortunately, she doesn’t have any social media accounts where she posts her art, and she isn’t planning to start any for now.

We’ve been indexed, yay! Thanks, everyone :)

Thanks a lot for taking the time to check all of this so thoroughly — this is really helpful!

And yes, absolutely. As soon as anything changes with the indexing status, we’ll come back and post an update here with how long it took.

Hopefully that will be useful for anyone who runs into the same issue later.

Hello!

Our game COLISEUM was published publicly on August 15, 2026, but it still does not appear in itch.io Search, Browse, Most Recent, or relevant tag/category discovery pages.

Game page:
https://hysteria-studio.itch.io/coliseum

I have read the Getting Indexed on Search & Browse documentation and checked the project against the listed requirements.

As far as I can tell, the project should be eligible for indexing:

  • The project is public.
  • It contains downloadable game files.
  • The game page is complete and includes a cover, description, genre, and tags.
  • The project is not a placeholder or an empty page.
  • The game is accessible normally through its direct URL.

I contacted itch.io support regarding the issue on August 17 under ticket #393627 and have also sent a follow-up. I’m including the ticket number only for reference; my question here is specifically about the indexing issue rather than support response times.

Could someone please let me know whether there is anything in the project setup that could be preventing COLISEUM from being indexed?

Or, if everything appears to be configured correctly, is it likely that the project is simply still awaiting manual review?

I just want to make sure there isn’t something on our side that needs to be corrected while we wait.

Thank you!

OH MY GOD! Thank you so much for the gameplay video, Participant! We’re running to watch it right now! 🖤

Trust us, we’d LOVE to drop Part 2 for you all immediately too, but until we get it exactly where we want it… nope nope! You’ll have to be a little patient with us ☠️

As for the number of choices: Part 1 of the demo is basically just the prologue to our story. Its main purpose is to let you shape your protagonist’s past through your decisions and ease you into everything that’s happening, so there aren’t many classic choices yet.

BUT! There will be plenty of them in Part 2, so don’t worry!

One of our main goals is to give players a lot of freedom in how they act and how they shape their protagonist’s personality, so we’re being really meticulous about designing those choices and making sure they actually feel meaningful. 🖤

Wishing you lots of success with your channel and everything you create! You make great content 🥰

Right now, we’re working really hard on the next part of the demo. It’ll reveal even more about the world and the Coliseum itself, and you’ll get to meet the characters too ;)

That was amazing! Our whole team laughed and cried our way through your video — we had such a great time watching it!!!

[Spoilers] Don’t worry about the items you used! That part was a tutorial meant to teach you how to use the inventory and healing items ;) There was literally no way to avoid using them!

Yaaayyy!!! Thank you so much for the video!  We’re gonna run and watch it with the whole team 🖤

You can play on Android!

We’ve posted detailed instructions on our TikTok ;)

We’re so happy you enjoyed the game — looks like our tastes match pretty well ;) 🖤

tyvm!✨

Oh, you’ll definitely see them in Part 2. And all four of them!

Right now, we’re doing everything we can to make sure each one wins you over and that you’ll be happy with them. So hang in there just a little longer — we promise, it’ll be worth the wait ;)

Your content is awesome! 🖤 Can’t wait for the video!

We'll be waiting! 🖤

Feel free to leave a link to your channel here so we can check it out too! 👀

We’re so glad you enjoyed it! 🖤

We decided to split the demo into two parts so we could share something sooner with everyone who had already been waiting for the game. Part 2 will be much longer, with a lot more content and new mechanics.

And there are absolutely no restrictions on uploading gameplay to YouTube — quite the opposite! We’d be very happy if you introduced even more Participants to the Coliseum. 🎤

And thank you so much for wanting to share the game with your community!

Our one and only artist is responsible for absolutely everything you see on screen — and is currently being held captive by the Coliseum until further notice. 🎨⛓️

It really means a lot to them, and we hope you’ll enjoy Part 2 just as much. 🖤

That means a lot to us. 🖤
And if that scene got you that badly… good. We’ll make sure there’s more!

Not too long to wait! ;)
The next part of the demo is planned for this winter.

Glad to hear it!✨

Now that’s the kind of enthusiasm we like to see. ❤️ Thank you for the congratulations, Participant. We hope the Coliseum leaves a lasting impression!
