So fun! Would love the addition of key controls

My dog was FASCINATED by the music! Loved that you made the whole thing yourself.

Seeing that 'F' is how you pick up and deliver items was really helpful! Once we saw that comment, the vision really came together.

It took us a long time to load the game after we hit Start, just a heads up for other people playing.

Wow, this is so beautiful. The music, art, and the story are all so well done. Chefs kiss.  Love how open ended it is and how thought provoking the story is. Also really well scoped and incredible that you did all of this in such a short time! Also love how the sky changes over time. <3

Fun controls and mechanics. Not sure if I was doing something wrong but I couldn't get very far (past 2 enemies).

Super fun and inventive. Love the controls and mechanics.

Cool idea in an interesting setting!

Everything about the environment: the art, 2d/3d integration, controls, sound, vibe, was immaculate. Was a little confused about the instructions, but even with that, it was so fun!

Concept and game design are so cool here! Really nails the incremental snowball fantasy.

Haven't finished it yet, but will be coming back. So gripping and unsettling. I need to know what happens.

What a cool idea! Love the art and sound.

Especially love the intro art! Neat concept.

Stunning game :) Vibe was immaculate.

Great first game. We love the idea and the art!

Hello fellow Egg!! 🥚🥚🥚Your game is such a hoot. We love it!
Tile set was a bit confusing, but we loved the intro screen, idea, film grain, and chaotic nature. At first it was really hard because we weren't using the scroll function, but that helped. Also your bird is so cute :)

Thanks!

This book (? game?) is awesome! I cannot stop reading. Absolutely gripping.

I do think the endnotes 30-32 are a little ambiguous. I'm not sure if you're supposed to write the deciphered text upon the cipher, or in a separate notebook. And I'm not sure if you're supposed to strike those endnotes if you solve the cipher. It looks like other people aren't having that issue, so maybe it's just me.

However, this hasn't impacted my enjoyment at all. Exemplary! Love this game. Play it if you can!

Nvm. Just joined the Discord and I see that someone there has gotten this answered already.

Sorry for asking a bunch of questions! Just want to make sure I'm not going outside the boundaries of the jam.

Would getting feedback from a friend be against the rule which requires us to work solo? I imagine that having a friend playtest a prototype would be fine, but would it also be okay to hear their feedback about game ideas?

Smart! Thanks for the quick reply

Are projects that rely on local/couch multiplayer allowed? I imagine that this might not be the case, as I imagine the judges are not all in the same locations.

Loved it! The atmosphere and gameplay perfectly put you in the shoes of a seer. I'd 100% pay for a longer game. My biggest critique would be that, due to how short the submission is (compared to a full release) you don't get to see the long term consequences of your actions.

I'd also say that the dialogue system would be better if left-clicking while the chieftan was talking would auto-complete his line, but wouldn't skip it. But that's a super minor critique.

Great game!

HERO thank you i was so lost
